WWYD? (tmi too)

So, I posted Friday night about the stomach flu and my dehydration concerns. Luckily, I stopped throwing up soon after I posted that and am on the mend. Finally was able to eat more than a piece of toast today and slowly getting my water intake back up!

This may be completely unrelated, but my PGAL brain is getting concerned. I'm noticing an increase in discharge now (clear) and Dr. Google has me worrying again that it is a sign of PTL or something. Yesterday, I did have a couple of times where my uterus hardened like a contraction and I assumed it was due to the fact I have not been able to get much water in since Friday and my body is use to getting a lot more. I'm 17w4d.

Would you call or am I being extra paranoid?

I would call, especially if you're concerned about dehydration. I caught a stomach bug around 21 weeks and went in for dehydration concerns. Everything wound up being ok, but knowing things were fine helped me out a lot. I'm glad you're on the mend!

I would call as well, I began having BH at about 16 weeks and the MW was a great help.

If it were me, I'd probably call, too. It's worth a phone call for the piece of mind.

Could your discharge possibly be picking up now that you're rehydrating again? Similar to how drinking lots of water helps with CM when you're TTC?

I'm kind of thinking what you describe sounds like what my doctor said was bowel pains & you may have some due to hydration or straining with sickness. I'd go ahead & call just so they can check your fluids & such. Good luck! Hope you feel better.

Thanks ladies! I called and left a message. Hopefully they call me back and tell me all is normal after being sick. I don't really want to have to go in if I can help it, but will if I need to.
