Boy name or girl name?

DH and I started talking about names we would use if we had another baby (we just started trying again). The name Cameron came up and I thought it was mostly used as a girls name now and DH thinks it's mostly a boys name. We would use it for a boy but I wondered if it was considered a girls name now. When you hear the name Cameron do you think of boy or girl? Thoughts in general?

I think *typically* Cameron is masculine and Camryn is feminine. But don't quote me on that...

Both. There's Camreron Diaz and then I know a guy named Cameron. It easily goes either way!

My name is Casey and I am a girl but I have gone through a life of getting misters on mail items, having people say "oh, I wasn't expecting a woman" and people calling me Stacey and telling me my name is a boy's name. Please do your child a favor and don't give them an ambiguous name.
