boob refusal while weaning

So I've been weaning S for a couple weeks now and have gotten to the point where she's only eating from me when she goes to bed, MOTN feeding(s) and when she first gets up in the morning. I cut out the last daytime feeding yesterday, and tonight when she went to bed she flat out refused to eat from one side. She got really mad so I switched her to the other side where she ate just fine, then when I tried to switch her back, she would latch on and suck for a second then kind of just spit out the nipple over and over again. She was obviously still hungry since she then ate another 2oz from her bottle. The side she refused has always had supply problems (less than half an ounce ever when pumping), so I'm wondering if maybe that side already dried up for the most part and whatever comes out is just funky?

For those of you who have weaned, did you notice any behavior similar? I guess I just have no idea how to tell if I'm actually dried up enough on that side where I don't have to worry about infections, etc.

    Yes, He started refusing my weak side about couple a days after dropping feeds. We then only went right side for about 2 weeks after. I had no problems during with the weak side as far as infection/engorgement.

    If you don't have pain or feel full or engorged then you are probably drying up. When I weaned DD I never had any engorgement. Sounds like you are taking it slow. I think most people
    Have problems when the wean quickly.

    This for me too. The otherside, however... ouch! And I was down to two feedings a day when I decided to wean!!!
