I spent most of my day in the ER with abdominal pain. I got a total of 4 mg of morphine. Last dose was at 1130. I nursed my 18 month old at 4pm and 730pm. Does everyone think that's ok? He is acting fine, but I'm just a little nervous.
Also, the ER doc was VERY unfriendly as far as breast feeding goes. She started me on 2 antibiotics, said they weren't safe for breast feeding, told me to wean, and "You've nursed for 18 months anyways". Blah, LC said the antibiotics are fine with nursing.
