We are going to see phish while my sister babysits! We've been seeing concerts on NYE since 2008 and there really is no better way to do it. The balloons, confetti, the energy, is like no other! I'm sure next year it will be harder to leave LO but until then we plan to enjoy it!

Staycation in Orlando. Probably going to be asleep well before midnight, but might go to dinner or something

The past few years, since M was born, we've had a few friends over for apps and drinks. This year there will be 10 adults, 3 toddlers and 3 babies. We won't make it even remotely close to midnight, but it'll be a fun time with the kids there.

Eta more people bc I can't count apparently. Lol

a couple of friends may come over, we always do a 10k new years day race the next day though. So we try not to go crazy the night before.

We used to host a big shindig at our house every year. Then we added baby number 2, and other friends started having kids. Nobody really wanted to come out, and getting sitters to do just the adults gets tough. We will probably eat pizza and drink wine and not make it until midnight. I don't think we have the last couple years. Oh well. I have lots of good pictures and memories from past New Years parties. I can deal with being a party pooper for a few years.

Splitting a hotel suite downtown Austin with friends. After drinks at hotel then going out with several other couples. It will be the first time leaving K all night. I'm beyond nervous and am already ready to go pick him up early in the AM.

DH is a restaurant manager and that is a night everyone works. We have a little tradition of having fancy stuff (champagne, caviar, pâté) in our jammies together when he finally gets home. We're homebodies anyways so I'm fine with this. New Year's Day we are having friends over and cooking lamb.

Dinner with my brother, his gf, and another couple we are friends with! We will be home in time to put MJ to bed (he goes to bed around 11) I'm excited for a night out! I got a really cute outfit while shopping the after Christmas sales!

Parents are watching E so DH and I can have a dinner date (we started dating on NYE). Then bringing some champ back home to watch the ball drop on TV (if we manage to stay up that late).
