Sooo I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where any of us FTM can ask STM+ questions. I am sure a lot of us wonder the same things or there may be things we don't think about that others wonder that would be helpful to know. This doesn't have to be every Sunday, but it is fun to have a catchy name

So post any burning questions you may have!
Re: STM+ Sunday Survey
1. When is a good time to start a registry?
2. What are things you do not need to register for?
DD 3/15/12
DD 6/3/14
#4 Due 10/26/18!
Baby Gap and Old Navy are also true to size for my son, though sweaters from Gap run big on him.
2. What are things you do not need to register for? Clothes, blankets (unless you want a specific type of swaddler or something- no need to register for those fluffy soft blankets), toys (again, unless you want something very specific like Sophie the Giraffe).
As far as clothes, Carters' and Old Navy are my favorite- they always seem true to size. Target brand (Circo) run very very small (DD fits 2T and occasionally 3T in clothes right now but she is almost too big for 4T in Circo clothes).
STM's:
If given a choice, what would you wear immediately after labor?
Anything you wish you would have done during your pregnancy that you didn't get around to do?
What are 1-2 conversations to have with hubby before baby arrives?
To do when pregnant: eat sensible ( I gained a ton of weight) and to take pictures (totally agree with @LoHerrim)
Conversations with DH: can't think of any really. I know it's not a conversation but I did make sure to have one last "date" before becoming parents. That was really good for us because so much was about baby that we needed to regroup.
Also, wear the mesh undies they give you! They are super comfy, big enough to accommodate the giant pad you will be wearing and you can just toss them after each wear.
I wish I would've taken more pics as well, and really just tried to slow down and enjoy the process more. I was in too big of a hurry to have him here, and afterwards missed it.
Honestly as far as talking to your partner, finances and delivery day are important to be on the same page. It's hard to try and prepare guys for baby because everything changes the moment they see them.
