It's not a cork and I tried a hand towel and my shirt. I tried until my hand started to cramp. I'm gonna head back in there in a second and try again. MAMMA NEEDS HER WINE!!!!!

Yay for open wine! Another trick is to wrap a rubber band around the cap and then try to unscrew like normal with your hand on the rubber band. Gives it extra grip!
