Bottle Recommendation

Hi ladies.

I am thinking of switching bottles. Currently, we use the playtex ventaire bottles but I'm having a huge problem of them leaking all over the place. Sometimes out the bottom, sometimes out the nipple. So I'm thinking of switching completely to different bottles. What bottles do you use and would you recommend them?

I have and love Born Free. I've been using them for 2.5 years (DS1) and have never had an issue.

We use the Avent Naturals and never had any leaking. They are the only one DS will use.

My mom likes the First Years bottles while my husband likes the Medela.

Avent - tried Avent Naturals, Tommy Tippee, Platex Ventaire, Platex Dropins, Similac, Medela...Avent are my fav by far!

I am in the process of switching from tommee tippee to Avent naturals. So far so good. We had issues for a long time with nipples collapsing (getting inverted) while feeding which was a frustration to us and baby.

I can handle a little bit of leaking but my bottles are leaking like crazy.

We've had really good luck with the tommee tippee bottles. Only had problems with the nipple collapsing when it was either a brand new nipple (not "broken in" yet) or if he was ready for a faster flow nipple.

Looks like you're gonna gave to experiment! Maybe buy 1-2 bottles if several different brands and see what works for you!

Avent Naturals and the regular Avent. Never had an issue

We started out with Born Free but LO was having gas issues so we switched to Dr. Brown's and have been very happy.

You're right! I have 2 avent bottles that were free, so I'll try those. I also have 1 dr. Brown and 1 nuk bottle so we will see if any of those are any good!

Avents are a no go. DH hates them as they allow to much air into her tummy. We are trying the playtex drop-ins. Anyone have any experience with these ones?

The only bottle my dd will take is the playtex dropin with the latex nipple.

N seems to like them, and we've only had one spit up since using them, which is amazing!
