Friday night fun

After maternity pictures this morning, I was in the mood to do some major organizing in the nursery. Between showers, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, I just haven't had the time or energy. But now I'm switching into full on baby-mode!!

So I'm now sitting on the couch, folding freshly washed baby clothes!!! Everything is so tiny!!! I wanted to wash the crib sheets and LO's coming home outfit so I thought I'd go ahead and wash some of the onesies and blankets too. Ahhh! Makes me want time to speed up so I can meet the little guy!

That's what I'm doing too!

I just realized since I only have until Sunday, I really need to get moving on things. So I'm getting my laundry caught up and doing another couple loads of LO's stuff.

DH is working in the basement and will be heading out the garage in a few minutes to hang out with the neighbor

I'm doing homework and bumping while the kiddos watch Cars. DH had to go into the church for a couple hours.

I'm praying our gassy little girl goes through her fussy time earlier tonight, waiting for DH to make use medium rare steak (oh how I've missed pink meat), and will then watch him teach his DD to play chess while I feed our baby most likely every hr if she has her fussy cluster feed early. Wouldn't trade a minute of it though!

I love seeing tiny baby clothes in my dryer!!
We're doing a 24 hour improv marathon at SO's theater to raise money for Gilda's club cancer research. SO is performing tonight with a guy from SNL - should be lots of laughs. I'm performing at 8am tomorrow. Somewhere in between there we'll sleep a little! I know it's no big deal but I feel a sense of accomplishment and like a little bit of a badass managing to keep up with late night events and being on my feet on stage!

Were still finishing up our family stuff for Christmas. So tonight is partying for us. As long as DD will let us anyways. It's just a low-key family thing with lots of kids anyways, so at least I don't have to dress up!

Same here! Just started the second load of baby clothes and finished folding and putting away the first. I didn't realize how many little pairs of socks I have... I'm also trying to clean the living room but it's slow going (I keep getting distracted).

I'm feeling rather huge and uncomfortable so not a lot on the agenda. I just had a banana and Greek yogurt with chocolate chips for dinner. Planning to make something for DH and DS soon though.

After DS is in bed, we have S1 of Homeland to finish. Then on to S2. MIL bought them for me for Christmas and we are hooked!

Folding DS' stuff was Yesterday's late night fun. SO & I are off to Target so I can get all the stuff I need for my hospital bag even though I'd rather be in my PJs and go back to sleep.

Since we are close to "go time" we have no plans this weekend. Our plans currently consist of watching Futurama and eating leftover pizza and Christmas cookies. Maybe some Mario Kart???

DH went to Chipolte and got us some mega burrito bowls. So yummy and now I'm so FULL.

We are folding big kid laundry and watching First 48. Woohoo! Wild night

Had my weekly appt, where she stripped my membranes (yow!), did a grocery trip and gave DH a haircut. Now I'm soaking in the tub and bumping on my iPad. DH is already in bed!

After dinner, dd and I played with her play dough then read books. Once she was in bed, I made lots of to do list that dh will have to help with

Now, I'm catching up on Scandal season 2 on netflix. I can't believe it took me this long to start watching it. Great show! Tomorrow, I'm debating taking down the tree. I would never take it down this early but it's not letting me nest!!
