FTM question: baby dropped

I'm 33 weeks as of today and EVERYONE keeps telling me it looks like my baby has "dropped" is this normal this earlier? He's not going to come rushing out is he??

    I "dropped" really early with DD, and she didn't leave until she was evicted. It really doesn't mean anything.

    It just means baby has adjusted to where he/she needs to be. Could also be how baby is laying in there. If baby has all the weight down there and toward the front. . Your belly will look lower

    One of my pregnancy apps mentioned it on the 34 week mark I believe so technically it's not too early. I don't know anything about it affecting labor tho. FTM here :)

    Oops. I guess "baby dropped" wasn't the best title for this! Sorry!!

    But thank you everyone. I feel better now :) he needs to cook a while longer.

    My baby dropped around 30 weeks, my MW said some babies just prefer to be head down and drop sooner than others. Nothing to worry about!
