  Eh, doesn't really mean anything.  Mine was darker than that with my twins. The test line was actually darker than the control line.  BUT my SIL had higher HCG levels than I did, and she only has 1 baby.  So again, it means nothing. Everyone processes HCG differently.  Don't get your hopes up.

  Higher HCG numbers *can* result in a darker line (though that's not always the cause for a darker line... the test could have just had more ink on it than others). Higher HCG levels, however, doesn't mean multiples.

  The darkness of the line mostly has to do with the amount of dye in the test. H&H 9 months!!!

  My line was not any darker then with my singletons. In fact my lines were darker with DS3. 

  I also think that you may be more like 10dpo based on your chart. Regardless, congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope that you get your heart's desires!

  Mine was super faint at 10 dpo, and looked almost identical to what it looked like 10 dpo with my singleton. Both times my DH didn't even believe I was pregnant (silly man ). As others have said, only an ultrasound will tell. But either way, congrats!!!

  Most people will say no, but I got a very dark positive 3 days before my period was due, and I found out at 10 weeks that it was twins.

  I had darker 8dpo with every singleton and didn't bFP with twins until 10dpo and it never got dark.

  Congratulations either way! I never even bothered to do a HPT so I'm no help for comparison.

  Ceridwen21 Yes...this is a question that gets asked frequently here. To put it in perspective (since you've been on the TTGP board), it's kind of like posting an "is this a BFP" drive by on TTGP when lurking or searching the board would give you a quick answer with no flaming involved...KWIM? There aren't any twins symptoms or indicators other than seeing more than one baby in there at an u/s. High hCG, dark pee sticks, "extreme" symptoms, early BFP, showing/bloating early, identical twins in the family, etc the list goes on...none of it indicates multiples, none of it raises your chances of multiples. Either way, one baby or eight, congrats on your pregnancy and HH9.

  My tests were so faint that you literally could have mistaken them for a negative. OH and I was 6 weeks freakin pregnant!

  My HPT was a very faint line with twins and then took forever to show up on a digital. With my singleton, it was a very dark line.

  I didn't get a BFP till 13 DPO and it was faint. I tested every day starting at 7 or 8 DPO because I was so nauseated I was sure I was pregnant. So, in my experience anyway, strength of the line and when you got it has nothing to do with number of babies.
