Yesterday was TP Thursday!

TP to my MIL for saying "Hurry up and have a kid so that you can do the holidays and I can relax"

TP to my BIL for not telling our friend (whom he told I was KTFU) that I lost the baby so when he came in and gave me a big hug and said "I hear congratulations are in order" in front of everyone, I was the one who was embarrassed (as was the friend) when I had to shake my head "no"

TP to my DH who tried to make excuses for why the test results are not here yet instead of just agreeing to call the doctor today.

TP to my friend. She sent a "Christmas" card that I received yesterday. There wasn't anything Christmas on it at all. Instead, on the front was a pic of her and her husband and 11month old saying I'm thankful.

flip the damn card over and it reads: I will be a big sister in the spring of 2014! My friend hand wrote "well it looks like 2014 will be another exciting year for us."

Grateful for this vent because my husband didn't understand my initial reaction.

peggels24 Sorry you had to explain everything and deal with insensitive comments. I think TTC should be off-limits at all family gatherings, just like politics and religion.

@Giants721 We got a similar announcement/holiday card. Except that it was a picture of their 2-year-old next to an empty bassinet that had a balloon tied to it that said "coming in April 2014." That empty bassinet just depressed the hell out of me.

@Giants721 and @sng92207 I am so sorry you received cards like that. I don't understand how people think that is appropriate to send to a loss mother or father. I am so sorry.

For being the people who are supposed to stand behind us and support us, our families are incredibly insensitive.

TP to DH's mom who keeps buying us baby shit "for your future children".

TP to SIL for being a AW and milking all the attention she can get for her 2 little girls, while also casually throwing around the idea of having a 3rd just because she's bored at home with just 1 kid while the other is in preschool for 3 hours 3x/week. And for her stupid annual Christmas photo calendar of her girls, we got 2 this year.

TP to all of them for not shutting the F up about the cousin who is 12 weeks.

TP to DH for saying we wouldn't be leaving his other cousin's wedding reception early "just because" everyone talks about the pregnancy/babies/kids.. Like that's not a valid reaction for me to have. I guess he doesn't understand how nearly a year later I can be completely crippled with grief on a bad day.

This has nothing to do with ttc... So we went from the holiday season directly into inventory at my job it takes about 3 days with the amount of staff and stock we carry. After a full days work I find out the IT department accidentally deleted my counts from yesterday.... are you f...ing kidding! I need a vacation.

Thanks all.. The holidays have not been kind! We were seated at the same table as the 12-week pregnant cousin and SIL and her baby & toddler at the wedding reception tonight and it was incredibly tough. I'm hoping I'm just hormonal bc AF is around the corner..
@rubysi I hope you get your vacation soon.
