Canadian Tuxedo

I am going to a Christmas party tonight. Every year they do a dress code. Last year was white. I had a gorgeous dress and LOVED getting dressed up. Silly me expecting something elegant again. Haha

Dress code this year is Canadian Tuxedo. It is going to be a lot of fun but seriously? I don't really have anything to wear. Hopefully I can pull something together. I also side eye H for thinking just because it said Tuxedo in it we would be fine in formal wear. I am so glad I looked at the invite today.

If you don't know what Canadian Tuxedo is please look it up. It will hurt your eyes.

    I know it is all in good fun and I really do enjoy the people we will be with but I just feel ridiculous already.

    I am. I was born in Montreal and still retain Canadian citizenship. 
    Well in that case I am sorry. Haha. I am not sure why it is called that. We have a few Canadians coming to the party tonight. I am curious to see what they think about it now.

    0.o what the heck? I did have to look that up, and now that I have I'm confused. Doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not even Canadian and I'm offended by it >.< Any idea where the term came from in the first place?

    Am I the only one who thinks that's a hilariously good idea for a party dress code? I'd rather do that than the overdone ugly Christmas sweater.

    Hahahaha. I agree it is better than ugly sweaters! I just loved how classy this has been over the last few years and missed it.
