FET, estradiol while pregnant?

Hi ladies, I'm new here and my DH and I are pregnant after a FET. I've had two betas, 87 and then 373, and go for our 6 week ultrasound on January 7.

Anyway, my RE has me on PIO once a day and estradiol two times a day as well as low dose aspirin once a day. I can't remember being on the estradiol with my DS when we did IVF, he's almost 2.

My concern is that for some random reason while I was taking my pills last night I suddenly had a thought, is this bad to take when pregnant? So of course I consulted Dr. Google and was freaked out. I don't want to call my RE just yet because I do trust her...but it scared me.

Does anyone have experience with this?

    I did both PIO and estradiol with my pregnancy until 10w. I don't know that many REs use it, but I had no issues while on it or after weaning down to no meds.

    I did the same protocol for my son and this baby, PIO and Estr. For 12 weeks and the asprin! Then when i hit 12 we got to stop cold turkey and it was wonderful! And my son is great and so far so good with this babe!


    Also i will be 6 weeks jan 3 so we are just a few days apart! Congrats on your little one! :) what a great christmas this is!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    Ditto pp. I'm on it too! I also took it for my son who is almost 4 and he is healthy. Dr Google is scary sometimes. You are on the right track though :-)
    Me = 36 with PCOS and 1 tube removed for a cyst and adhesions
    DH = 35 with low morphology

    April '09 IVF (antagonist protocol) = 5R5M, none fertilized, cancelled at ET
    May/June '09 IVF/ICSI = 6R6M6F, 2ET on 6.18.09, 1 frostie, Beta on
    6.30.09 = 51 OMG!! Beta #2 = 167 Beta #3 = 2630!!!!! An uneventful pregnancy. 
    3.16.10 a healthy beautiful miracle boy born via unscheduled c-section

    Now on the quest for another, so our dear son is not alone.

    May/June '12 IVF/ICSI (antagonist protocol) =10R9M9F, 1ET = BFN, 2 frosties
    Aug '12 FET, 1ET= beta hell, 2 rounds of methotrexate, 4 months later Hcg < 2 
    Jan/Feb '13 IVF/ICSI (long lupron protocol) = 18R18M18F, 1ET = BFN, 10 frosties
    Apr '13 FET w 2ET (one from '09 and one newer) = (strep throat during 2ww) biochemical = BFN
    June '13 FET w 2ET = 1 baby boy lost at 10w, D/E with karyotyping, loss due to monosomy 21.
    Karyotyping of me and DH negative for a balance translocation.
    Dec '13 FET w 2ET, BFP!!!! 12/26 beta #1 10dp5dt = 781, beta 2 12dpt= 2234 could this be real?!
      Not giving up yet.
    5 frosties on ice.

    Truly realizing how much of a miracle my son is and praying this will be a sibling for him.

    I also just had FET with positive results. I'm on estrace 2mg three times  a day 81mg asprin and pio. I asked my RE about the estrace when pregnant knowing it was contridication in pregnancy. she stated that I'd have to take until 10 weeks prengant because your body won't produce hormones they way they prep you with fet. At 10 weeks the placenta will take over and produce the hormomes. In regular IVF's I have never been on estrogen. She said it was no risk for miscarriage or birth defects because you aren't producing it yourself since they supressed you. I hope this answers your question. It still freaks me out as my pharmacy even put label on it don't take if pregnant! I just have to trust in my RE and the fact most people with fet do the same. best of luck!

    I had the same protocol with my DD. stopped cold at 10 weeks but continued the baby aspirin till 35 weeks.
    TTC 1/2010 DH Dx - Azoospermia 2/2011
    Hysteroscopy 3/2011 2 Polyps removed 4/2011
    DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!
    IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
    1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
    Prayers for our take home babies!
    2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.
    My angels grew wings shortly after birth.

    transferred one beautiful 5day blast (girl)
    Please G-d the almighty one - let this be our take home baby!
