Going back to sleep after night feed

So on a good day Paige gets up around 1am to eat then passes right back put. Well the past few weeks sleeping has been hell, she has been leaning to crawl and would sit herself up and crawl every 15mins- hour. It seeeeeeems like its getting back to the 1 am schedule however now I am having the issue of laying her back down. No matter how long I hold, don't hold, rock to dead sleep, lay and pat her back etc etc she always wakes up screaming. So I have been bringing her to bed with us after the 5th or 6th attempt and she is out Ike a light. Any suggestions? As much as I love the cuddles we would prefer her to sleep in her own bed, but I have to function too and after 1 or 2 hours of is game I give in. I have a feeling I am just Going to have to let her cry it out? She goes BANANAS though if I let her go too long and I don't want her to get sick? I guess just curious if anyone else is going thru this and if they found a magic trick?

  • We are going through the same.  It is getting better although he is still struggling.  I will come in to check on him and he will be sitting up and trying to pull up on the crib.  Does she cry when she is up because she is up or because you are trying to put her to sleep?  My daughter would crawl around her crib when I put her down but she would eventually wear herself out and I would come in and she would be sleeping.  As long as the mattress was low, I didn't worry.  Hang in there, once they start moving they aren't going to stay laying down. That is one of the things I miss about the newborn phase.
