Hair loss

My hair just started shedding like crazy right around the 4 month mark.  How long does it usually last?  Does it get thicker again?  If so, when?  I already shed a lot before this and it always looks like more because I have long, dark, curly hair, but this is excessive.  Now if I just smooth my hair, I get several strands in my hand.  Thanks!

    My baby is 3 months and my hair started shedding a good 3-4 weeks ago and has not let up.  I have long hair also and it's just so gross in the drain after showering.  It is all over the bathroom in general from brushing.  I read that by the year mark it should be back to normal, but everyone is different.  Hopefully it will improve well before then!

    Both times, I shed like a mofo from 3-5.5 mo pp. Like clumps. It's disgusting.

    I have long dark hair as well.  My husband says it's like our bathroom floor is alive in the mornings. All the hair that moves across the floor.  I clean it every day.  It does grow back. Unfortunately, when it does.... you have these baby hair sprouts all over your head.  Like a chia pet.

    I was just going to post this exact topic today. My little one is 4 months and my hair started falling out around 3 months. If this keeps up I'll be bald by spring!

    same for my hair!!! before baby my hair was falling out a little but now it's LIKE ALL OVER THE PLACE! i have to tie it up to keep it from getting it everywhere and i can't shampoo my hair without getting tangled in all that damn mess. it started getting worse when i got the Mirena..idk if that has anything to do with it.

    I have dark, long, thick hair so when I shed, it's worse than a cat. Mine goes for months and months too. With this Lo it just started last month. She has handfuls in her fingers and toes all the time. It's also in wads in the laundry, the bed, the tub, sometimes in the dishwater, everywhere. It drives me crazy, but I can't stand to have short hair so for several months we just have to deal with it. My hair brush looks like I haven't cleaned it in months when I clean it often.

    Mine started around 4 months PP and I'm at 5 months, 1 week PP and it's still going strong. I'm a FTM so I have no idea how long it's going to last but if it doesn't end soon I'm going to be bald!
