Books your lo loves

DD loves books. She would sit all day and listen to us read if we let her. I am getting tired of the books we read everyday and just wanted to know which books your lo likes. I'm making a list to give to people when they ask what dd needs, because we have way too many toys.

    Eric Carle books (especially "the very hungry" caterpillar and "from head to toe")

    Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

    She also has a sesame street abc book that she loves (mostly because she flips thru it trying to find elmo).

    That baby animal book that I put first, though, is her favorite thing in the world.  She will sit and look at it by herself for 10 minutes at a time.

    Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones is our regular bedtime book. It 's all the animals on the Savannah getting ready for bed.

    Little Blue Truck, Little Blue Truck Leads the Way, The Pigeon Wants a Puppy, and pretty much anything with flaps she can lift. :) Those books are all my favorites as well; I admit that I cringe a little whenever she picks Where's Spot? Who the hell has lions under their stairs, alligators under their beds, and hippos and birds inside their pianos anyway?

    The little blue truck books are great. DS also loves Snuggle Up Sleepy Ones. If Kisses Were Colors is adorable. DS likes books with animals in them. There are plenty more that I can't think of at the moment.

    DD loves anything by Sandra Boynton and the "that's not my "whatever" series.  We have That's Not My Fairy and That's Not My Puppy.  (That's not my Fairy, her shoes are too bumpy, that's not my fairy her crown is too smooth; that's not my fairy, her wings are too fluffy; that's my fairy her wand is so shiny) They're feel books, and DD loves to touch the pictures.

    It changes but our LO loves Goodnight Gorilla and could read that all the time! We also love the little blue truck and any book that plays sounds. We have a Charlie Brown Christmas book that plays music and he loves it.
