Ring sling help

This doesn't feel right. I followed every video/link I could find, but DD keeps hitting her head on the rings, and generally seems uncinfortable (and she loves being held!)

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

(Please excuse the "I have a 2 week old" outfit!)

You're close! Just reorient her so that her head is towards your other shoulder if she's in an upright position like that. Let me see if I can find a pic to show...

Personally I find it easier to keep a good upright position with legs out - totally fine to do it that way from birth as well and most babies prefer it. If you are going to keep her legs in, make sure her weight is on her bum and not her feet (I can't tell from the pictures if it's that way or not). You can also wrap the tail around the rings to make a bit of cushion.
