Tell me what your best and worst gifts were for Christmas!

My best was DH bought me a iPad. I was shocked, we normally do not spend that much on eachother, feelin' a lil guilty about what I bought him. Worst was a family member who I'm pretty positive gave me a bag full of regifts. They were terrible.

Best: I got the Naked2 palette, yay! I'm so excited to start using it. Oh and my cousin hand knit me and DH matching stockings which she modelled after my childhood family stocking which made me cry.
Worst: I hate saying one of my gifts was the worst, but I did get a gift certificate to a clothing store I never, ever shop in. The clothes are more geared toward middle aged women, but I usually get a GC to this place every year because the gift giver is friends with the store owner.

Best: DSLR camera from DH...he gave it early so I could take pictures this morning.
Worst: tomorrow is Christmas with the in-laws and they never disappoint in this area...

I don't think I got any bad presents!

Best: DH got me a ring from Kay that I've been drooling over. Totally didn't expect it! I'm going to be sad when I have to part with it to get it resized.

best: my momma got me the Dyson pet hair vacuum I wanted. We have 3 cats, and with the baby on the way, a new vacuum is gonna be important. Worst: my SIL got me wine bottle stoppers. In her defense, I actually has said I needed them a few months ago before I got pregnant, And she's an early shopper. we mostly exchange gag gifts anyway. She also got me a windshield ice scraper that says "Fuck this", and I made her a cross-stitch that says "welcome to my home. Now go away."

Best gift: My mom got me a Kitchen aid mixer!

Worst gift: S/O's mom got me a bottle of wine and a wine stopper. I'm just bummed I can't imbibe till next year!

(S/O told her later in the night what was up, because I passed on Rumchata shots, and Teal NEVER turns a shot down).

Best gift: Michael Kors purse, in beautiful sapphire blue. DH had to hunt this down because they stopped selling it in the regular stores and hadn't started selling it at the outlets when he went to buy it.

Worst gift: Not really worst, but ill timed, I guess. MIL bought me a bunch of wine things, an electric wine chiller, a cork holder, a wine holder, a ceramic wine chiller, and a set of wine glasses. We told her when we got into town about the pregnancy, so she just looked sheepish after I opened each gift. I told her I'll have something to look forward to using in the fall.

Best: My mom got me Kate Spade sneakers that are covered in glitter. Oh yes, I will be wearing them. In public and everything :-)

Worst: My grandmother gave us two checks: one made out to me, and one made out to DH for half as much. Who does that??? It was so weird. Why wouldn't you just write one check? Then my mom told me she does the same thing with her and my dad, and with my sister and BIL. She's an odd duck.

I have a confession even though it's Thursday...DH got me a (very nice but simple) watch. When he asked me later if I liked it, I honestly told him that I would rather have something flashier or with a designer name (they are in the same price range though, I'm not a complete asshole. He's all about quality and "it will last forever"). I feel terrible but really like the watch I have now and don't really want to give it up for something I don't like as much. Would you guys have sucked it up and worn it, or spoken up?

I will trade all the regifts I received for the wine stoppers and ice scraper. @salsera29 I prob would've spoken up too. DH and I try to be honest with eachother about gifts. I'd rather have someone tell me what they really want rather than just not use/wear what I hit them.

@snuff9861 turbie twists! I have 3 and I need more. I don't like having to wash them so often because I never blow dry my hair. PS. DH hates them so I love wearing them.

Best gift: One of those Shark steamers that cleans all floors, and everything else with various attachments.

Worst gift: Not really a bad gift just made me sob uncontrollably in front of everyone- it is a pillow with a picture of our two doggies. One of which we have to put down shortly and I am not looking forward to crying every time I sit on my couch. OH, completely forgot about this really really thoughtful and intricate religious charm bracelet my grandma got me. It was very sentimental but the problem is, I am not religious.
