Beta #1 Count me in!!!

OMG 781!!!! Thoughts on twin risk?! Eek! Next repeat on Saturday. So thankful to have made it this far.
Me = 36 with PCOS and 1 tube removed for a cyst and adhesions
DH = 35 with low morphology

April '09 IVF (antagonist protocol) = 5R5M, none fertilized, cancelled at ET
May/June '09 IVF/ICSI = 6R6M6F, 2ET on 6.18.09, 1 frostie, Beta on
6.30.09 = 51 OMG!! Beta #2 = 167 Beta #3 = 2630!!!!! An uneventful pregnancy. 
3.16.10 a healthy beautiful miracle boy born via unscheduled c-section

Now on the quest for another, so our dear son is not alone.

May/June '12 IVF/ICSI (antagonist protocol) =10R9M9F, 1ET = BFN, 2 frosties
Aug '12 FET, 1ET= beta hell, 2 rounds of methotrexate, 4 months later Hcg < 2 
Jan/Feb '13 IVF/ICSI (long lupron protocol) = 18R18M18F, 1ET = BFN, 10 frosties
Apr '13 FET w 2ET (one from '09 and one newer) = (strep throat during 2ww) biochemical = BFN
June '13 FET w 2ET = 1 baby boy lost at 10w, D/E with karyotyping, loss due to monosomy 21.
Karyotyping of me and DH negative for a balance translocation.
Dec '13 FET w 2ET, BFP!!!! 12/26 beta #1 10dp5dt = 781, beta 2 12dpt= 2234 could this be real?!

    Did you transfer 2??? Beta is not an inducator of twins, just have to wait and see! But congrats! Welcome to the christmas miracle club!

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    @kfdecarie yes we transferred 2. This was round #6 so we have been at the transfer 2 point for a bit now. Thanks for the info about beta not being an indicator. I've never had a first beta even close to this so I was surprised.

    Congrats! I think a high beta can just be an indicator of a really healthy strong ute.

    Yay!! Congrats on an awesome beta!!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!
    IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
    1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
    Prayers for our take home babies!
    2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.
    My angels grew wings shortly after birth.

    IVF #4 October 2012 - New RE. Doing PGD Testing. 8 R, 7F, 2 made it to 5 day blast for PDG testing. Both Normal (Thank you G-d!!!) 1 boy and 1 girl
    transferred one beautiful 5day blast (girl)
    Please G-d the almighty one - let this be our take home baby!

    Congratulations!! What day was your beta on? I know they say it's not an indicator, but I think to a certain extent it IS. That being said, my betas were on the low end of high, if that makes sense. Can't wait til you get a head count!!

    DH: 31, normal!

    @kzawisl we did a 5dt of 2 embryos on 12/16. First beta was on 12/26, so 10dpt. I've always had much lower betas. I did a little bit of a medical literature search and found an article from 1995 stating that betas greater than 600 on 14 dpt have a high likelihood of multiple gestation. Who knows. We'll hopefully see if a couple weeks!

    Congrats welcome to the bpf club! With my twin preg hcg wasnt indicator but my prog was really high n i was off my prog after 2nd beta

    Congratulations! I don't know if beta is an indicator but my beta at 9days was 396 and my nurse said "that's like a 2 baby number." I'll find out tomorrow at our u/s if she was right of not.
