#2 naturally after IUI for #1?

Good afternoon! Not sure if this is the right place or not so feel free to redirect me :) I am the mom of an almost 6 month old girl, conceived after 3 rounds of Clomid then 2 rounds of Clomid+IUI. I was only ever diagnosed with unexplained infertility and have very irregular cycles after going off birth control (which I was on for roughly 10 years). I am a triathlete and long distance runner but work to maintain a healthy weight/BMI. Currently I am EBF though we are starting solids and also beginning the process of weaning. We are weaning for a few reasons, one if which is that I am hoping to conceive #2 sooner rather than later. I am 34 and given how long it took with #1 we don't really want to wait and desire our children closer together. My period has not yet returned. My daughter was sleeping through the night but with some travel, a growth spurt, developmental changes and teething, not as much recently. Mostly I don't feed at night but I will when we can't soothe her back to sleep otherwise. So, with my background in mind, our goal is definitely to conceive #2 naturally. Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation or can offer some advice? Any recommendations to help move things along? Thanks so much!!!!

IUI #1 Sept 2012 BFN
IUI #1 Oct 2012 (10/11/12) BFP!

Baby Girl born 7/3/13!!!

And now we begin again...

Baseline Bloodwork and U/S 3/4
Had a 22mm follicle on the R, getting ready to O on my own...BFN
AF 4/6, CD11 testing done 4/16
3 follies right (largest 18), 1 left (11.8). Lining 7.16
starting Estrace 4/16, trigger 4/16 with IUI likely 4/18

    If you'd like to try to conceive naturally for awhile I would look into acupuncture and see if your acupuncturist can put you on a Chinese herb/supplement plan that targets your issues.  That is what my husband and I both did and conceived number 3 with the help of herbs and acupuncture.

    I was completely done breastfeeding and my cycle had returned before we started this though.

    We got pg with #2 right after I weaned DS.  I never got a post partum af.  I got pg with DS on my second Clomid/iui as well!  Then, I got pg with DD#2 without intervention either - took almost a year with one m/c, that time.  Good luck!

    I conceived #2 naturally after femara and IUI for #1! I had night weaned, my cycle returned at 8 months, I was having weird 6 week cycles, and the 2nd cycle was the magic trick. GL!

    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
