I would like cookies and anything made by my child (although he's too young now to do this). Maybe homemade scented candles? I love candles. I'm not really into things that are knitted.

I'm still working on a homemade gift for my mother that I am ridonkulously excited about -- her birthday is January 7th so I'm hoping to have it done by then.
My grandmother is 95 and has some senility so she's not able to write stuff down for us anymore. But back in 2000 when I graduated college she made me a recipe book containing some of our family favorites.
So I scanned those recipes, edited them slightly, uploaded to Spoonflower (a website where you can design your own wallpaper, fabric, etc), and arranged them on linen canvas to make into dishtowels. I have all the fabric, so now I just need to cut and do a roll seam on each side (or rather, find somebody to do one for me, because I have no skillz and no sewing machine), and voila!
For my aunts and cousins I made gingerbread and candy cane sugar scrub using Ava's old baby food jars. They seemed to like them and I even made some for myself:). They smell really good!!
My mom made an Italian eggplant dip called caponata that my grandmother used to make. She packaged it all pretty and it was delicious as well as an homage to my grandmother who we all miss.

I can't wait to give them to her!
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
