The run down is that she will need laser treatments to remove it. We went in yesterday to have an ultrasound done on it to make sure it wasn't connected to any nerves. We have to then get treatments in San Francisco (2 hours away from us) starting on Thursday. They tried to get the regular dermatologist to do it in town, but she wasn't comfortable working on a baby. I have started putting neosporin only on it with a non stick pad, and it is looking a lot better, but the ulcer is getting deeper still. It's weird. I'm just ready for this section of our lives to be over.
I'm happy to hear you finally got some answers. But man I was hoping for a quicker solution for your lil lady. Here's to a quick and painless recovery.
