Christmas Fail

So not only is my baby a germ-machine, but DH and I got in a blow out fight this morning and he basically said "we're done"... I am sincerely hoping that he too just has a high fever and/or is delusional from being sick... but he ended up refusing to get back into the car and must have called a cab or taken some public transit home (we were 30 miles from home). wtf... way to ruin our first Christmas as a family. Thoughts and prayers please that he cools down and doesn't do anything insane today.

. It was our firsf Christmas as a family and actually our first Christmas together well long story short he walked out early in the morning and has not been back. I am so sad. I feel like I ruined LO first Christmas

Oh my goodness, what is with these cranky daddies on christmas? Hoping those guys get their acts together and your families can have a nice finish to the day. Praying for you guys. @skidderdo did you guys take Warner to the doctor this morning? Is he doing ok?

::hugs:: I know for our family we have finally hit the newborn wall. We have pushed through the sleep deprivation, frustration, etc for so long it finally blew up. DH and I finally talked through it after having multiple, horrible, all out fights (with the D word dropped) and agreed we have to better handle the new stresses LO has brought to our life. Hoping something similar happens for your family.

I'm sorry you are both having such a rough Christmas. It seems like guys are like bombs... No warning because of their inability to communicate feelings, and then suddenly they just blow up from stuff that has been stressing them out for a while. Kids are really hard on relationships. Know you aren't alone though - most parents go through difficult times. I hope you're able to work through it and come out the other side stronger in your relationships.

Aw ladies you are awesome! You really are I felt so lonely today and I read your good wishes and it makes me feel good inside. Well my SO came back in the worst attitude so we had a huge fight and that caused me to feel sick dizzy,nauseas not good for the baby in the tummy. So he felt horrible and has been trying to make it up to me all day. So yes my day got better but it just sucks that we had to get to that point for him to change his attitude. Im glad we at least had a few good monents with Jaz and thank God she has had the most amazing attiitude

Sorry ladies :-( it's normal though. When I get incredibly frustrated , DH and I always take it out on each other because it's not like we can take it out on the baby. We're working on it. Hope everyone is doing better today!

Update on the hubs: we were able to talk through things last night and each admitted what we did wrong and how we could communicate better in the future. He is really good at "letting thugs go" so I am feeling confident we can just keep moving forward at this point. I have to share that he was so mad he walked home from my parents' place to our home... 23 miles... A lot of time to think!

This has been one of the worst weeks in my marriage in a very long time. The result was DH blowing up at me Christmas Eve and telling me he wouldn't go with me to my moms yesterday morning. He finally came around but it was really pretty miserable. I have been feeling so sad today that our first Christmas as a family was spent fighting. Not even a single family photo
