DS his room today through a baby gate and a baby proof door knob and didnt make any noise so the baby monitor didnt alert me I only knew when he came and knocked on my bedroom door. I am starting to feel the monitor is useless at this point. Is it worth it to keep in his room and buy another for our next baby due in may or just pack the current one up and use that in may?

We don't use it at night. DS's room is right across the hall so we hear him pretty easily... And I still bring him in our bed when he wakes up (because he still doesn't STTN-ugh!), so we really have no use for a monitor at night.

I also worried that he'd start crying and we won't hear him immediately. Normally I'd let him cry for a minute or so but not right now, I'm too worried about his pain level. We're OAD so I'm really glad this wasn't one of the things we donated already.
