Ultrasound Tomorrow

You read that right.  I'm having and ultrasound done tomorrow morning.  Not to see a cute squirmy baby, but to see the position of an IUD.  I received one on Thursday and have been very uncomfortable ever since.  I feel a pinching/poking on my right side.  It is painful and annoying.  I was hesitant to receive one in the first place.  But, my doctor made it seem like it was the best thing ever.  She said it would be totally painless going in, and that I wouldn't feel the IUD at all.  So, far she has been WRONG about everything.  Anyway, I'm freaking out about tomorrow.  I just want to be done with the stupid thing, I want it OUT!  Positive thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks Ladies!

    Good luck tomorrow!

    You're much smarter than I was.  I suffered through four months of terrible cramping before 
    i pulled the plug on mine after DD2.

    ETA: Luckily getting it out was way easier than getting it in.

    Ha ha, I thought the same thing! Good luck with the ultrasound. So much for trying new things, right.
