Our families are both local so the furthest we have to go is 20 minutes away to my parents, tomorrow morning. WE are hosting DH's mom's side tonight, and DH's dad's side tomorrow (divorced). I'm elated - I live to cook and entertain and I"ve wanted to host the holidays for ages. Not sure if I'll keep doing it after this year, but for this year I'm thrilled and have been busy in the kitchen all morning. :-)
Home! So excited. We usually spend Christmas and NY in Florida but decided it was too much this year. It's been awesome...except for the -20 windchill this morning

Ditto that for Mpls: -15 air temp when I woke up... now it is a balmy 7. Not sure what with windchill. Gross.
We always travel but last year we told everyone that we were having LO first Christmas at home and they could come to us. We will be having a house full!
Going to FILs now, mass at 7 p then my family for presents after mass. Tomorrow we will be spending the morning at our house then driving up to my MIL's for the rest of the day.
Both. We're spending Christmas Eve at home, then after waking up Christmas morning, driving to my parents' house and staying there for the rest of the week.
Opening presents in the morning after my sister comes over. Then I'm cooking lunch (SO excited!) and my in laws are coming over. I love hosting and I'm so excited because Alexander loves to eat and eats just about anything that I give him!
Home- My family lives an 8 hour drive away and they were supposed to travel to see us, but then canceled last minute. There was the annual Christmas Eve gathering tonight at the In Laws for all of DH's extended family, but me and LO are home sick and missing it. So it will just be the three of us for Christmas. We did Skype with my family today though as LO "opened" the gifts that they sent for her.
We are spending actual Christmas home just the 3 of us. On Friday we will travel to be with our families for the weekend and celebrate Christmas with them.
Re: how are you spending your first christmas with the little one?
