Rash Question

Has your LO had a random rash? Google says totally normal for kids, but it seems strange since I don't think he has been exposed to any potential irritants. No fever and he doesn't seem bothered.

It basically says not to worry about it if he doesn't seem bothered and no fever. Just to keep an eye on if for a few days.

My LO gets a rash that's kind of like this, a little more splotchy, about 24-73 hours after a fever. Was he sick at all over the weekend? That's my only contribution. Hope your LO feels better soon!

My only thoughts are a post-sick rash. I think I would see the pedi if that doesn't clear it soon. Poor little guy

Did LO have his 15 month shots yet? Specifically the varicella? My pedi mentioned that rash after vaccination was possible and it could show up up to 6 weeks after the immunization..... Just a thought.

He had varicella and MMR at his 1 year, so almost 3 months ago.

My son had this- started on his upper legs, then spread pretty much everywhere. Doctor said it was Fifths Disease. BUt his was accompained by a high fever, but his pedi said that a fever doeesn't always occur at the same time as the rash.
