Can we do TTC Monday since tomorrow is xmas eve?

'Cause I need my ladies to put my mind at ease.

I finally ovulated yesterday. I had EWCM from Thursday through the weekend and yesterday had some pretty obvious ovulation pain, so I am 99% sure. We DTD but I O'd on CD 35, so it's unlikely anything will happen.

After we DTD I did some research about late ovulation and how the egg/lining is usually of poor quality and if you do happen to conceive, there's a higher risk of m/c. So now I am worried. I just wanted to get that out, really.

But I'm not going to worry myself. I'll cross that bridge when I get there, right?

That does help. Dr. Google is pretty much the worst place for TTCers! I could have just ovulated late, ya know? But of course, my mind goes to the worst. possible. scenario.

Dr. Google is horrible for everything. Not a very nice Dr., that's for sure.

I know everyone knows someone, but my BFF has long cycles (60+ days) and always O's late. She's had two pregnancies and two healthy babies. FX for you, this is your month!!!

I just double checked and it was actually CD32 yesterday. Soooo whoop whoooop. That means my egg is actually three days younger than I thought. It's not walking with a cane just yet. hahah

Alastair was conceived on CD67. Aidan on...not even sure, I never had a period between the boys.

Stay away from google. Crossing fingers for you!

Stay away from google! Not sure if I even belong here because we are kind of TTC. I can't chart because it drives me crazy and I become obsessed and then depressed. We both agreed to just let it happen. We did that with LO and it took us 8 months. So we've started only using condoms occasionally. We will fully stop using them in February. Is that weird? I won't post here if I don't belong.

I wouldn't exactly call it TTC, more like NTN(except sometimes)P, lol. But you are welcome here as long as you don't bitch about it taking too long to conceive that way, haha.

Haha ok that's a deal. And I won't complain. I give all of you props for knowing when you O and not going crazy. I tried that and honestly couldn't handle it. My fingers are crossed for all of you. And please let me know if something I say is out of line or rude. I don't quite understand everything yet!

So, I don't know if I'm s/b to be here or not, but the last week or two I'm so confused. I had two pg dreams last week, one involving H's cousin and one involving me. Both were that we were pg. Mine last week was so vivid that I woke up and told H about it. In my dream I was pg and heard the hb.

And last night, while dtd, H asks me if we want to try for another.. I'm on the fence. The last two months we've been so stressed out and I've been thinking we should wait. Over the weekend SIL and I were talking about TTC and she's all, "there's never a right time", which I agree with, but I guess I'm nervous to start. If you asked me 6 months ago, I was rareing to go.

ETA: And I just re-read this post and realize that it sounds super insensitive to the ladies that are TTC and have been for awhile. I so do not mean any insensitivity towards you, I'm sorry if it came across that way. I'm just unsure of where to post. I def can delete if you want.

@BillyMollyEmmy The cycle before LO#2 was conceived I O'ed on CD 21 and in my typical cycles O day ranged from CD 15 - CD19. So I googled late ovulation and read a lot of the same things as you. Granted I didn't conceive that cycle, I thought I remembered reading that late ovulation is not a guarantee of a bad egg (or whatever it is that Dr. Google says). I think it is only bad if you gear up to O multiple times and then finally O. So did you notice EWCM sticking around for a long time or other symptoms that lasted longer than normal? No need to give up hope. I'll be praying for that little eggie of yours : )

@jenmbott I had some watery CM on CD 17 for one day. Nothing happened. No O pain or anything. And I get really obvious O pain all across my uterus. I actually felt myself O yesterday on the right side, I am pretty sure. So... hopefully a young and exceptionally awesome egg!

This is our first cycle officially actually really trying. Lol. I'm not charting, but based on the data from the 11 cycles it took to conceive DS, I usaully O around CD17 which would be Christmas Day for me. So we have been trying.

Last night DH asks when would baby be due- I said Sept again. And he paused. And said maybe we should aim for baby being born in December-January. (less busy for him). It's been all him who wants another right now but now I'm on board. I like Sept babies- gives me a full year off work without having to go back in the middle of a school year. So we'll see.

AF was due 12/21. Still not here. But I'm spotting like I usually do before my period, and having mild cramping. I bought a pee stick during my lunch break, but I feel like I should wait another few days just so I don't waste it if I get my period tonight. Ahhhh.

@BPer In the AM, if still no AF. I've been randomly getting nauseous all day, but I feel like I'm psyching myself out. If it's positive, it's going in my husband's stocking. haha

I wouldn't rely on pre pregnancy charting if I were you. I was a CD10-16? Oer pre baby, now I O between CD18-20ish.

Ya I know it could have changed. I just need something to start on. I can't chart because DS still gets up at night. Last time around I would get so obsessed with my chart and then consequently depressed, this time I agreed to try to calm down a bit and we would try to time it as best we could in the month.
