How is everyone holding up with the crazy ice storm? My sister has had no power for a day and a half now and my SIL had broken trees all over her yard and road. How is everyone else doing?

    Just as I thought things were looking up we had no power today from 11 to just after 6. Then our furnace wasn't working. DH just now got it going. Otherwise roads are almost clear, crews have been out cutting up the fallen tree limbs so things are better. My family in Quebec on the other hand were out of power for 28+ hours as of this morning. My mother got power back this afternoon after 32 hours without, but some of my sister friends still have no power.  This is a photo of the treeline at my mothers place, a lot of places are much worse off.

    ETA: these are maple trees to clarify, the branches should not be drooped over or touching the ground that way
