Today I have to go to work briefly, then my last OB appointment, then do some errands kid-free. That's a Christmas gift to myself! This afternoon DD and I are going to bake cookies for Santa, then put out apples and carrots for the reindeer. We're going to watch The Polar Express and then head to bed. She totally gets that Santa s coming tonight and I am for sure going to cry tomorrow morning watching her excitement when she wakes up and sees the presents under the tree. Christmas is a million times better with a kid!

Ready as I'll ever be! Dh and I making a ham and Au Gratin potatoes for dinner and then opening presents. Can't wait for Emma to open her new computer and desk and pink chair, etc. So much fun.

Can't wait for today to be tomorrow lol. This is my favorite holiday! I have an MFM apt today for my twice weekly NST and BPP and then more Christmas baking and tomorrow morning I get to watch my kids faces light up because Santa has been here. First Christmas I have had off work in 4 years.

I can't believe it's Christmas Eve. Where has the year gone?!

I'm up wrapping presents while DS is still asleep. I have some final errands to run and small gifts/stocking stuffers to buy, which I'll do after my 8am oil change. We'll make cookies this afternoon and hang out with family, then DS will open his Christmas box sometime tonight so we can read his new Christmas book and watch A Charlie Brown Christmas. This is the first year DS is really interested in Santa, so we'll leave cookies and milk out for him - which I get to eat after he goes to bed. Heck yes.

I really hope the last of my Amazon packages arrive today...eek...

I have a couple last minute errands to run, and hopefully run by the DMV before they close (my ID expires next week, talk about last minute! But who makes a 9mo preg girl redo her ID pic. Mean). Then tonight we have Xmas at DHs aunts house at their huge mansion with about 60 other people. Exhausting! I still havrnt met everyone...can't wait for laid back relaxing Xmas with my parents tomorrow afternoon

I have my 36 week appointment and then DDand I will come home and relax so we can try to spend Christmas with the rest of the family. I'm so excited for DD to open all her presents and stocking.

Hanging out by myself today as DH is working. Booo. Really hope they let him go early. Going to head off to church with my parents this afternoon and then plan to get into some pjs and not wear anything else for at least 2 days! Woohoo!

I'm off today! Amen! I've got a German chocolate cake to make, some cookies to bake, and at some point, we want to visit my in-laws before my mom comes over this afternoon. We'll see how exhausted I am by noon. We're out right now making a Buy Buy Baby run, and DH is getting me a breve in Starbucks.

I have an OB appointment this morning, after which I'm going to brave Wegman's for some fresh produce for tomorrow morning. The rest of the day I'm going to spend cooking and wrapping! We'll attempt to go to Christmas Eve church service this evening, too.

The thing I'm most looking forward to would be DS opening his gifts. He was really too little to understand last year, so I'm excited for that.

Also the food. The GD diet is going on hiatus for the day. My family tradition is to make a bunch of decadent finger foods and snack on them all day. This year about 90% of the menu contains bacon...

DH has to work this am. I'll be hanging out at home getting everything ready for our Christmas Eve lunch with our closest friends. That's at 1pm. I expect they will hang out for a while then tonight we will put on our new pjs and watch a movie. We will also need to bake some cookies today otherwise Santa will be eating hummus and Cheetos.

I'm staying home and doing things around the house today. SO didn't finish shopping yet so he is going out. We are skipping my family's Xmas Eve festivities to stay in and enjoy each other

we have so many family gatherings coming up this week and we live the furthest away from everyone so we took this one night to ourselves.

My favorite thing about Xmas is our delicious breakfast we eat ... It is my favorite meal every year mmmm!!!!

Next favorite is seeing my family receive the gifts I got them !!!

Third favorite is the gifts I get !

Can't wait

but mostly I'm excited for NEXT year to introduce sweet baby to all the magic!

I still have some wrapping to do, but I'll be able to get it done in plenty of time.

I'm looking forward to it all! We have dinner tonight at DH's aunts, breakfast at my mom's tomorrow, lunch at DH's moms, and then dinner at my uncle's. It is crazy busy, but I love getting to see everyone and there is always so much good food!

I might be going out for some lotto tickets because I forgot them yesterday for the stockings, and possibly prepping tomorrow's lasagna.

Miniature freak out: H gets crazy and wants to start taking down the tree ASAP which means Christmas is over and it's basically New Year's.. Which means I'm barely a month away from my due date.. I'm just about last to go here so I can't even imagine what you ladies are thinking. Our earliest birdies are over two months old already! When did this happen!??

This is my favorite holiday as well. DH and I are off to our NST then we will et ready to head to Aunts house, we weren't planning Togo originally bc OB thought LO would be here already but nothing yet and I don't want to miss the wrapping paper fights and tamales! Then my family is spending the night at our house we are doing games and dinner and tomorrow morning DH family joins us for breakfast, presents, homemade hot coco, charades and a movie. Yay Christmas!!!

I am going to make a roast and potatoes for supper. Then we will maybe drive around and look at Christmas lights. Let d open the Christmas Eve present which includes a madasgar Christmas. We will watch that get cookies for Santa ready and carrots for the reindeer. D is excited that Santa comes tonight and I am excited that we are not at my in laws this year and can enjoy my little family and make our own traditions.

We finished everything yesterday, so today we're just enjoying the festivities! Just finished giving the kids a bath and packing bags for the 2 parties we have today. We're heading to brunch at my sister's house and then we'll head back to my mom's to start getting ready for her annual Christmas Eve party (SO FUN!)

My kids are SO EXCITED, especially Carter, who really "gets" it this year. I can NOT wait to see my kids open their gifts. I couldn't care less if I got a single thing for Christmas, it's totally worth it to see the look on your kids faces as they open their Christmas gifts. There is NOTHING better.

Merry Christmas to all of u!! I'm Working today until 330 and I have Xmas off. DH is making filet mignon and lobster tails for our Xmas eve dinner tonight, yummy!! We are doing our little St. Nick gift exchange tonight along with opening a few gifts from both our parents that they sent to us. Than watching A Christmas Story!! I'm due next weekend so no traveling for us this year. All of our family is 5 hours away. I'm sad we won't see any of them but it will be nice to have our last Xmas together just DH and I before this little guy arrives!!!

I'm working half a day, and then headed to pick up a couple of items. AND THEN THE BEST PART OF MY DAY!

Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies with DS for Santa and Mommy gets to eat the dough!!

Everything is purchased and wrapped! I was on the ball this year due to the "just in case" hanging over my head!

I do need to go to Best Buy though after work. My mom sets up the video camera and records the whole opening gifts. When she told me this morning she needed me to pick up an 8mm video tape for the camera, I decided it was about time they get into 2013 (almost 2014). There's no way I'm running all over creation looking for this tape, I'm getting them a digital video camera. Problem Solved!

Exhausted and I have to go to my BSC grandmother's. There's always drama or guilt trips of some sort. I don't plan to stay more than a couple hours. I have to do homework when I get home. Yes, my school is actually holding classes over Christmas.

We're going to see Frozen today when I get out of work at 1, then we will be baking cookies for Santa, then church service at 7. Probably a Christmas movie and stories after that. I'm totally ready for tomorrow! Last year, Julia's reaction to the gifts under the tree was priceless, I can't wait to see how she reacts this year! I agree with @sugarland, Christmas with a kid is the best!

Tonight we will celebrate with my MIL and tomorrow we will go to my brother's house since my mom is here from Brazil

(i told my brother he can keep my mom this week since I am working, but after I want her back! She drives me crazy but I love that lady! lol)

The tradition in my family in Brazil is to celebrate the 24th of December, have dinner, exchange gifts at 12am and the following day everybody gets together again to have lunch with all the food that is left from the 24th!
Since I moved to this country and got married, we celebrate each day with one family...

I do like the tradition here that Santa brings the gifts and the children open it on the 25th... I never did that. I always had to accept that Santa got my gift under the tree many days before Christmas because he was worried he would skip our house! (tks a lot mom!) lol
I will adopt the "25th" opening gifts for LO next year...

I'm most excited that I don't have to work! I was scheduled to work tomorrow but have since been put off work on medical leave because of my blood pressure. I love pretty much everything about Christmas day - giving/receiving gifts, family time, food. Can't wait!

I am as ready as I'm going to be. I bought the boys some PJs to wear tonight and open presents in the morning. DH bought some for DD last night. ("They were just too cute to pass up! Awww!!!" Yeah, he's really a softy!) DH is going to wrap up the last of the presents tonight. We aren't putting up a tree in the traditional sense. Instead, while I was at my appointment this morning, they made Christmas trees, and those will be hung on the wall, and presents put "underneath" them.

Tonight we have church, then supper with my family, tomorrow we'll open presents early then church again. Then a relaxing day. DH is taking the kids up to MN on Thursday, and I'll have the day to myself

I was unprepared for going on strict bedrest, so we're going to be celebrating our Christmas after I get off bedrest or after LO is here. I am going to talk DH through baking our ham tomorrow, which should be entertaining at least.

Sleeping in and relaxing with the hubs and pup. Make a big ole breakfast, then head to the beach. It's our last holiday without the family everywhere and our last alone (and last in Hawaii). We're going to soak it up for everything it's worth.
