I just read the instructions that came with the Bumbo. According to them, the Bumbo should not be used as a car seat. Well, FML. I was totally planning on doing that.
PS.... the bumbo is totally a waste if your kid has fat legs. I wish I hadn't wasted the money!
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!

They are just saying that for legal reasons. You totally can use it. If you couldn't it wouldn't have straps.
LMAO @mommabmb I totally feel like I'm pushing my LO's thighs in now a days. He's a little chunker (not really but compared to how he used to be he is really beefing up).
OT, but I got new makeup brushes yesterday, and the warning on the package said "only for external use". Um... what dumbass decided to use the brushes internally, and what the hell were they trying to brush??

@californiadream87 I swear, I got him in it twice. He's huge anyway (20 pounds at 3.5 months) but his legs just don't fit... I've smooshed, tried naked... He just doesn't fit. Maybe I should try harder now that I know there's carseat potential. Coconut oil should do it!

BFP 3/29/2014 2u2 Let's do this!
(I know it's meaning not let them get the bottle but it makes me giggle.)

@mommabmb and anyone else with a chunky-legged baby... We had to return the Bumbo, but LO loves his new seat: https://www.target.com/p/summer-infant-3-in-1-activity-and-booster-superseat/-/A-13299988?ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=Google_PLA_df&LNM=|13299988&CPNG=Baby&kpid=13299988&LID=PA&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=13299988&gclid=CLC-uoWdybsCFVBgMgodrgkAHg
We actually got the pimped out version (I think it's the same seat with a few extra toys) on sale for $35 a few weeks ago.
I know, huh? It kind of looks like a black market deal on babies. Like knock-off purses in a trunk - black market babies in a truck!
