Daycares in Plano

We just moved to Plano this summer, and expecting our first child in March.  I will have to go back to work in July and need good recommendations for childcare. We have interviews with FBC in downtown Plano and Primrose in Plano.  Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Daycares in Plano

  • Where in Plano are you?

Both of my kids got the The Montessori School at Starcreek (off of 121 and Lake Forest)- they start at 6 weeks and go up to 6th grade if you choose to keep them there that long (we will start public Kindergarten). They are amazing with my son who is almost 10 months, and my daughter is 4.5 and has been there for almost two years now.

  • We are looking at FBC Plano, too! My co-worker's children went there when they were pre-school aged. She had great things to say about their program.

We've also inquired at a Primrose school near us, but there is quite a bit of a cost difference btwn FBC and them. We've also reached out to a home daycare, but it isn't very close, and I'm more curious about the cost of an in-home daycare vs others.

    Good luck with your search!
