Anyone celebrating today?

DH works today, but gets off tomorrow at 7 am

So Connor and I are just hanging out. I need to make my Reese Pb cup mini cheesecakes for tomorrow at my MIL's, prep the strata for brunch and juice the oranges for mimosas

I have a few things to wrap yet too haha.

We're relaxing today and I also have to make a cheesecake for tonight. It's my first time making a cheesecake from scratch, so I hope it turns out! We'll head over to my moms around 4 to celebrate Christmas Eve.

Cleaning all the things, wrapping the rest of the presents, bringing both dogs to the groomers, picking up a friend who's spending the holidays with us from the train station, and packing up the van to head to my parents' house to do Christmas eve with my brother then Christmas day with my parents and DH's family.

But right now I'm going to the bathroom alone while DH has DD downstairs, and it's glorious.

Hanging out with Vivi in the EMU,hoping we get discharged in time to make it to Christmas Eve service. I need to assemble and wrap gifts tonight. The girls will get to help bake and decorate cookies for Santa after service.

Today I have to grab some groceries, wrap all the presents, get my jewelry inspected and a million other things. So I'm going to the zoo with dd and my mom.

Hoping DH gets off work around 11 and then headed to his grandma's for Christmas Eve and then up to his dad's and back home later tonight. This is the first time we've been living close enough to be expected to bring a salad or something and I forgot until last night and don't have the right groceries for anything. Maybe if we walk in loaded down with the baby, diaper bag, and presents they won't notice...

Working until noon, I should have just stayed home. I'm sleepy.

Then lots of prep for breakfast tomorrow, going to my parents for dinner.

I'm hoping H will be done around 1 today. Last year they closed on Christmas Eve, but FIL is being an ass about it this year (because he doesn't have to be there if he doesn't want to). Maybe he'll find it in his heart to close the day after Christmas. Sigh.

Doing some last minute shopping for the house and groceries. I forgot to grab mini blinds for our guest room since my sister is staying with us. I also have a cold which sucks ass.

My mom and step-dad are visiting, their plane just landed and my H is getting them. When they get to our house Audrey will have on her big sister shirt, we will see how long it takes them to notice :-). Tonight we are Grilling steaks and corn and just hanging out. We will open one present each tonight.

DH and I are both off, so we're doing stuff as a family today. Went to Dunkin Donuts this morning and E had his first donut (it was plain, but still a treat, right?). Then we opened Christmas presents that DH's parents and siblings sent so we could call and thank them.

Chinese food for lunch and dinner, painting the ornaments E made, and then baking cookies for Santa.

I'm heading out to my parents whenever DD wakes up. We do dinner out there and DH will get off at 5 and meet us out there. Then it's candlelight service and opening up presents at grandma and grandpa's house since it's Santa's first stop. Then we go back to our house and put the lights on and watch Christmas movies. We haven't picked which one yet--Christmas Vacation, Elf, or Polar Express.
