DH can bite it.

After we put N down for the night lately, she has been waking up crying and needs to be rocked back to sleep. Then at about 9:30pm she wants to be fed again. This is out of the norm but she is going through a wonder week. DH wants her to CIO and actually just told me that I will have to do it eventually. Um, no. I don't. I understand the need for some babies to CIO, I really do. But N isn't one of them. She only wakes to eat usually, then she is right back to sleep. I'm tired but not to the point of needing to CIO. I don't think this is the sleep training for us. We will probably try to decrease her nightly feedings soon but even there she is naturally doing that herself.

If I felt she needed to CIO, I'd do it. But she doesn't. I want to kick him in the junk. It's going unused right now anyway.

Thanks for listening :)

Re: DH can bite it.

  • Hopefully it passes quickly for both of us :)

If both parents aren't comfortable with a style of sleep training it shouldn't be done. It's just so annoying because he only wants to let her CIO when it's his turn to get her back to sleep. So sorry your video game is being interrupted -.-

  • Haha! I love that! He would completely forget about the CIO by morning! My DH does it at all times. N got up 4 times between 8pm and 10pm and every single time, he said we need to let her CIO. So annoying. She's just going through a thing. She wakes up at night but not usually that much. Heck, at 1:30am she decided it was play time until 3:30am. I hope it stops soon because its unlike her.
