My cousin just had her baby last night. Her water broke (at home) at 10:30. When she got to the hospital she was 8cm and DD was born at 12:30! Holy shitballs that's terrifying!

    Wait, do we have the same cousin? She has 3 kids and I swear had like, 5 minute labors with all of them.

    Haha @tealowl I don't think so cause this was her first. I just keep thinking that she couldn't have drugs if she wanted them...yikes.

    I'm scared this is going to happen to me.   My 2nd was born after just under 3 hours of labor.  I had no drugs...no time. 

    But...that's really fast!

    With my first I was 8cm when we got to the hospital....but I pushed 3 hours....

    Fast would be good as long as I make it to the hospital in time to get the drugs. 

    But I suspect there may be evidence for the tearing theory, because my aunt said my cousin was in a lot of pain afterwards. (You know, I used to be afraid of the pooping. Then I heard about the tearing. I would gladly poop all over everything if it would keep me from RIPPING OPEN MY VAGINA!!)

    I know someone who "gave birth so fast" that her "bladder fell right out onto the table". Kind of freaked me out to hear that story.
