I feel like I need a visit from Jamie Whatsherface in the activia commercials. This holiday eating is not sitting well.

DH has been on vacation exactly 1 day and is already driving me nuts.

    DD packed her room for our new house last night. The thing is, we are not moving. It took a little while to figure out that her friend probably put the idea in her head since his mom talks about it all the time.

    DS has been doing well with potty training. I have was able to get a lot of cleaning done today that I was not expecting to get done. :)

    The traffic is horrible! I am glad I only had to go to the grocery store for fish and milk this afternoon and won't need to go anywhere near the stores tomorrow.

    DD poops EVERY SINGLE day about 15 minutes after I've put her down for her nap, regardless of what time it is. Argh child!! 

    Also. Shutterfly. You said my calendars would be here a week ago. Christmas is in 2 days. Hurry the F up.

    I hate when I make cookies and they're just .. meh.  I would certainly eat one, and they're not gross. But I don't taste it and say "WOW! This is DELICIOUS!".  It was a new recipe, something I've never made.  And probably won't again, hmmmph.  They're really pretty, though?  Hopefully Santa likes them..

    I am so ready for snow!!  I can't wait to go to Colorado on the 27th!! 
    I am happy to be spending Christmas at home, but it will be awesome to go snow boarding.

    I made a pumpkin pie today and it is taking a lot of self control to not cut into it until Christmas dinner.

    DD1 has been finding something funny about running around yelling "butt cheeks"

    It was roast beef (a whole roast), shredded with herbed sandwich buns, with tortilla chips & salsa.

    We just went to drop off a gift for my oldest's Girl Scout troop leader and when we were there, DD told the troop leader how "A man came and disconnected our cable but after he left my dad went and plugged it back in so now we have cable."   8-|

    Most of that story is true but we got rid of cable because nobody watches tv and DH plugged it in while the kids are home over break.  Wrong, totally but ya, that was embarrassing lol.

    Also, today when I took DS to use the potty, he finished and got off the toilet and said "I spray you mommy!  I spray you mommy!" while motioning like his penis was a hose.  Fun times in boy land.

    I am SOOO over this Santa thing. For the last two weeks Reese has been asking every 2 minutes to go to see Santa. And when is Santa coming. And reminding us that Santa brings toys to Reesie. And reminding me that we need to put out milk and cookies for him. 

    Only 12 more hours left of the constant Santa talk.

    Today DD managed to cut her own hair AND poke herself in the eye with a sewing needle!

    (Took her to the ER and she's fine. Also the haircut actually looks kind of cute.)
