Yep, working today, and a half day tomorrow so that I don't feel guilty about taking the rest of the week off...on my third week here.

DD was mad at me for coming into work this morning. When I told her I had to go she said "I don't want to!" and then refused to talk to me anymore when I said I had to.

Now I wish I had just stayed home.

I am here. Should be a quick day and as soon as I'm done with the stuff I have to do & clean my desk, I'm outta here. Then I'm off until Jan 2nd, so I am super excited and antsy!

I was feeling a little bummed to come in this morning because I have enough vacation to have taken the day off, but I need to be here for work reasons.

I am here at work. DD was a pill last night and so I have been up since 3 am. We got 10 inches of snow this weekend and it is snowing again, so it should be an interesting drive home.

The only reason I came in is because I told my supervisor I would. I don't have anything that really needs to be done today. I just want to be at home with my babies.

Jealous!! We haven't had a good snow storm in 3 years. Its getting annoying.

Same here, we have gotten decent snows but we haven't had snow like this in a long while and the last white Christmas we had was probably at least 10 years ago...

We got a foot of snow last weekend, and then had two nearly 60 degree days...now it's all gone. We're going to have a muddy Christmas.

I am here. I have some work that needs to get done since I will be off the next three days but I do not plan on staying all day. I have so much to do at home and before Christmas I wish I would have just taken today off too.

MIL is watching DD today. I conveniently left out that we're on winter break ours at the university, so I'll be out at 4 instead of 5. I made a manicure appointment for 415. My nails are a hot mess. I tell myself I deserve it for wrapping roughly 60 gifts.

We're also "closed" until the 6th. If I had been here longer, I'd have vacation to get me through, but I'd have to take all of the time unpaid, which would kind of suck considering we're still paying for daycare. I'll appreciate the break next year though!

I'm here. Pissed because my printer won't work and I now have to hand address 37 invitations for my SIL's baby shower. This is for my FIL's side of the family. I also planned her shower for my MIL'd side of the family. I swore I wouldn't do it and would make someone else do a little work, but baby is six weeks old and no one would do it. So, alas, happy two months late baby shower. Bitches.

Damn. We get 3 weeks to start with, plus 15 personal days, 13 paid holidays, and every year our vacation accrual rate increases. And vacation rolls over, so that's awesome.

Sorry that your drive home will stink, but I'm jealous of the snow! It's raining in Boston.
