from leaving my house to go to a massage while witnessing my husband trying to make dinner while the baby was screaming in his bouncie , warm up breast milk and hear DS1 whine that he was hungry. i was like see ya later!
DD has this terrible habit of being a perfect little angel for daddy when I'm gone. I know he was starting to doubt me. Then one glorious day I left for 4 hours during her fussy time. He was so happy when I got home and has been so understanding. He has even finally stopped calling during the day because he usually woke her up. Now he texts to see if I can talk.
I left dh with a screaming pissed off baby to take a breather and when I came back it looked like he was in a fight. He said, "you don't even know'" hahah umm yeah I do.
Hell no, that's called a refresher course in Mommy Appreciation right there.
oh yeah! He does appreciate what i do and is a HUGE help always, BUT i know he still doesn
t quite "get" it. he insists he does but i am like, dude you are not alone with both for 12 hours straight, no you don't, no sir! when i left he said he was going to eat dinner first and then efeed the (screaming) baby. I lol'd so hard and said HAHA, no way jose, you have to feed him first duh! i can't remember the last time i ate a hot meal ha

It seems that even the most helpful husbands never truly understand until they're left alone for awhile!
