He's here! (Long)

Ok, so my LO isn't here but with all the birth stories going around and it being Christmas, I thought I'd write one for Mary

Here you go:

"He's here! So FI and I had to go to Bethlehem for some stupid government thing (a census?). And it's a 3 day trip. On a donkey

Needless to say, I was not very comfortable.

When we get to the town of David, it turns out that Joseph forgot to make a reservation and there were no rooms available! Zero! Typical man.

I felt like I was having contractions, and so FI was desperate to find a place for us. Finally, an inn keeper said we could stay in his stable. Not the most sanitary, but it was safe and warm. At that point my water broke and things really got going! FI did great and actually delivered LO! (Thankfully I wanted a non-medicated birth). And it's a boy! No more team green here!

we named him Jesus, Emmanuel, which means God with us.

Well, chalk it up to pregnancy brain, but I forgot my hospital bag and PNP! So FI found some cloths to wrap him in and put him in the manger. Nice and snug.

Then the strangest thing happened. These shepherds came rushing into the stable in the middle of the night! It turns out Baby Daddy (remember how I told you FI wasn't the father but God was?) had a huge birth announcement! He put a star in the sky over our stable and sent tons of angels to sing about Jesus being born! Best push present ever!

Anyway, I'm going back to my boy now! Thanks for the T&Ps!
