Just wondering what others are planning for New Years Eve. DH and I are all for my toasting with a little champagne but I know my parents (whose house we will be at) will not agree. Just wanted everyone's opinion and what you plan to do!
I will probably cook something good for dinner, watch a movie with my husband, and be in bed by 11. Lol... I tried staying out late for a Christmas party, and I felt miserable the next day. We'll keep it low key this year, and that's fine by me. No stressing over finding a nice outfit.. Sweatpants are more my style these days
We are having the neighbors over. The wife is pregnant, too, so we'll have sparkling cider for us and beer for the guys. We're making tons of food and just eating like crazy!

What are you preparing?
Pepperoni rolls for sure and then thinking of picking 3 Pinterest appetizers I have been wanting to try and doing those!

In 2010 I tried a sip of champagne. I didn't think it would harm the baby but the issue was my body decided it tasted DISGUSTING and I literally had two sips.
I don't think we have any plans, so I'll probably just cook tons of yummy, unhealthy snacks and we'll pig out. I'm not going to buy champagne or sparking anything just for the two of us. If we do end up going somewhere, and there's champagne, I'll have a small bit.
I'm allergic to champagne, so normally do my toast with white wine. This year I'll be using sparking juice instead, which is NBD because I love how it tastes.
Our plans are to go to dinner with a bunch of friends and then just hand out after/for the countdown. Not super fancy, but fun, and H and I wanted to do something since we figured it will be a long time before we get to again
Two things I love in life are alcohol and fully caffeinated coffee. Since these are restricted so much during pregnancy....I am just going to delay gratification until the pregnancy and breastfeeding are behind me and I don't have to worry. So, it'll be non alcoholic for me, and I plan to stay up and go out!
Neither. I'm not champagne nor sparkling juice fan. We're having friends over (4 other couples for a total of 10 adults, 10 kids) and having fondue, apps, and dessert. There will be 3 pregnant and 2 nursing moms so I am assuming the Dads will be having the most fun But it should be a good time! Very low key, just a chance to get everyone together to hang out, let the kids play, maybe throw some cards, eat lots of good food.
I'll probably have sips of DH's beers like I usually do.
I will most likely have Cranberry Ginger Ale. ...I am obsessed! I an sure I won't make it past ten, DH is going on a ride along, so I am debating on staying in or going to our friend's house.
Probably just sparkling cider for me. Unless I feel frisky and buy a little mini bottle of champagne to split between the two of us...H doesn't like it enough to be worth buying a whole bottle

Ooh I'll have to go there! I just went to Winco and they had sparkling grape cider (got it), sparkling cranberry cider (got that too) and the regular stuff (of course) but NO pomegranate! I was so sad.

I've never been a huge fan of champagne. I'll save my occasional glass of something alcoholic for drinks I actually enjoy
Edit: I forgot mimosas....I could live on mimosas.
