Do you celebrate Christmas? (if not..talk about what you DO celebrate!) YES

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? We sometimes open one on Christmas Eve, and the rest right as we wake on Christmas day.

When do you do stockings? Christmas evening after dinner.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? We go to my family's house by 9am and spend the day. I am sure as my kids get older, this will change.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? To tell my parents about my BFP. To watch my DS enjoy Christmas, now that he can ALMOST understand

What is your New Year's resolution? To stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine, and to start up my personal training business.

What is your plan to keep it? I need to further work on a business plan with my Mom, who will start a boot camp with me. I need to make the commitment to myself and my husband to stick with the diet and exercise, and hold myself accountable!

We absolutely celebrate Christmas. It's my second favorite holiday if the year, behind Easter.
This year is all up in the air because we had a falling out with my in-laws, whom we used to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with. We used to do family gifts on Christmas Eve and stockings and Santa gifts on Christmas Day. This year it'll just be me, DH, and DS and we'll do PJ gifts CE and everything else the next morning. In our house Santa leaves toys unwrapped and everything else is from mama and daddy unless otherwise marked.
Stockings will be done in the morning, though we haven't done them at our house yet.
We used to go across town and spend CE and then again to spend CD with DH's parents and siblings but this year we're going to drive two hours to have dinner with his grandparents (sans IL's) in Tampa. We were planning to drive to my hometown on CD to see my family but that fell through when DH's work changed his schedule.
Honestly I'm just excited for it to be over. I've been so blah this Christmas season with being forced to move and DH's hours being cut, I'm just ready to face the new year and look forward to the future.
I don't make New Years resolutions.

Yes!

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas?
Christmas Day. Though this year I got us all new pajamas to open Christmas Eve and wear to bed.

When do you do stockings?
Christmas morning after Santa brings them.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas?
Not this year, but we'll probably have to travel every few years since we live in WA, my parents are in NC, and ILs are in southern OR.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas?
Watching DD figure out how to open presents and see all her new toys.

What is your New Year's resolution? What is your plan to keep it?
I ran all summer but stopped as it got cold/dark/rainy. Gyms aren't my thing so I need to find exercise to stick with.

When do you do stockings? My hubby and I don't really do stockings, maybe when our kiddo comes along

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Announcing Baby C!!!

What is your New Year's resolution? Just to eat healthy for my pregnancy

What is your plan to keep it? Lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? Christmas

When do you do stockings? Christmas morning… first thing. Try doing stockings for a toddler christmas eve at night. There would be no bed time.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? We do vacations in January. This year we're going to the coast.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? My daughter to open all of her stuff. It's the first year she understands what's going on, and since she doesn't have a lot of toys here yet she is getting SPOILED.FRICKIN.ROTTEN…. and I can't wait.

What is your New Year's resolution? To be more involved in the family businesses.

What is your plan to keep it? I will hopefully assume a part time position book-keeping in February… or maybe March… We are moving into a bigger house first, then I'll start it.

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? We open gifts with my dad's family on Christmas Eve. My DD will also open one present (Christmas pjs and a Christmas book) on Christmas Eve. Then we will open the rest of our presents on Christmas day at our house, at my parents house, and at my grandparents house. Then the day after Christmas we will open presents with DH's family.

When do you do stockings? Christmas morning before gifts.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? Christmas Eve my dad's parents, Christmas Day my parents and my mom's parents, and the day after Christmas my IL's.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? To watch my DD enjoy Christmas, since it's her first Christmas and she is about as old as you can be on your first Christmas.

What is your New Year's resolution? I don't have one and will likely not make one.

What is your plan to keep it? Should be pretty easy since I am not making one.

When do you do stockings? We do stockings first before other presents.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? We have always split Christmas between our parents' houses - and unfortunately, they live SIX HOURS APART. So we would go up to Michigan to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my parents, then hop in the car and drive 6 hours to my in-laws (who live right by us) for the evening. This year we put our foot down and we're having Christmas at our house instead, and my parents are coming down from Michigan. In the afternoon, we will head to my in-laws for the rest of the day. So thrilled to NOT be traveling on Christmas for the first time in 5 years!

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Telling our families that our son is going to be a big brother!!!

What is your New Year's resolution? I don't do resolutions.

When do you do stockings? We open stockings, then eat our traditional eggs benedict breakfast, then we open presents under the tree.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? After spending Christmas in a Houston hotel while visiting the IL's (we can't stay with them), we agreed that all future Christmas mornings would be in our own house. We will reevaluate when all children are much older, but for now we stay put. Right now we live 1/2 mile from my parents, so they come over in the morning and we do Round 1 of presents and breakfast at our house. Then we do Round 2 and lunch at their house. This year my sister and her 3 month old are visiting from Hawaii since her husband is deployed.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? DS wasn't super into opening presents last year, but is SO pumped this year. Every morning he gets up and yells "It's Christmas! Let's open presents!" so we will be excited (and relieved) when Christmas finally arrives and he can open his presents. Plus it will be cool for him to see that Santa actually did bring him a big truck like he's been asking for. Last year he still didn't really get Santa.

What is your New Year's resolution? I haven't really thought about it for this year. It will probably be something along the lines of "Don't eat everything in sight" once my queasiness goes away.

Both- different gifts with different parts of the family.
When do you do stockings?
I actually have three stockings. One from my parents that I open christmas morning, one from my in laws that I open that afternoon, and then my husband and I do stocking for eachother that we open that night- just the two of us.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas?
Both our families want us for Christmas, so we're off to Jersey to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my family, then back up to Boston (where we live) after breakfast and presents to have Christmas dinner with my in laws. Talk about whirlwind.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas?
As always, the Feast of the Seven Fishes! I'm Italian American, and this Christmas Eve tradition is HUGE in my family- we take it very seriously. We also do a super fun white elephant swap- what can I say, my family is a good time!

What is your New Year's resolution?
I'd like to make an effort to write more. And lord knows there won't be much time to write come August!

What is your plan to keep it?
I'm trying to set aside a half hour every day to write- at a minimum.

We have a bunch of family friends over for Christmas Eve and there is always good food...but so far I'm so sick I can't enjoy too much right now...but I love being surprised and my MIL goes crazy buying presents, so I'm excited to give and open gifts. What is your New Year's resolution? I never have one and can't think of a good one yet....

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? When our kids get a bit older we'll do 1 gift on Christmas eve and the rest Christmas morning.

When do you do stockings? we don't do stockings

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? We have celebrations on my dad's side, my stepmom's side, and my mom's side. We always celebrate with my mom's side a couple Sundays before Christmas. My dad's side is at my grandma's house on Christmas eve and we celebrate with my step mom's side Christmas day in the afternoon.

What are you most excited for this Christmas? Announcing the pregnancy. Usually I'm excited about the food, but pregnancy has killed my appetite.

What is your New Year's resolution? To stop swearing and stop buying dumb shit for DD on random shopping trips.

What is your plan to keep it? no idea.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? Usually to my mom's house, but not this year. This is the first year I won't be with her for Christmas. We're staying at our house (8 hours away from my home, super far from DH's home) this year.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Celebrating our first Christmas with DD in our own home.

What is your New Year's resolution? To not gain too much weight with this pregnancy (since I haven't lost all my weight from my last one).

What is your plan to keep it? Work out and eat healthy.

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? We open gifts on Christmas Eve right now, as it's a long-standing family tradition. As my sister and I's kids get older, this will be shifted to Christmas Day.

When do you do stockings? Christmas Eve

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? My family takes turns having Christmas at each others' houses. We'll be at my sister's house this year for her baby's first Christmas.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Enjoying my last Christmas without a little one and getting pregnancy and parenting advice from my mom and sister

What is your New Year's resolution? Eat healthier, exercise more and have a healthy pregnancy

What is your plan to keep it? Have my husband remind me to eat right and exercise more. He harps on me really well, but only when asked!

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? We do a gift exchange with my dad's side on Christmas Eve, then open everything else on Christmas Day.

When do you do stockings? Christmas Day morning

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? Where DON'T we go for Christmas is the better question. We live in VA but go home to Buffalo. Christmas Eve we go to my cousin's house with my dad'd side, then to hubby's grandmas. Christmas Day we open with hubby's mom, then my parents, then hubby's dad. We go to my cousin's on my mom's side for Christmas Day dinner, and then if we have time, we go to hubby's aunts house for the evening. I can tell you right now, next year with the baby about half of these stops are getting cut out! Too much.

What are you most excited for this Christmas? Telling the immediate families on Christmas Day about Baby S!

What is your New Year's resolution? To stop stressing myself out over every little thing! And to try to eat healthier for the baby.

When do you do stockings? H & I exchange stockings on Christmas morning before heading to my parents' house and we also do stockings with our families on the day we see them.
Do you go anywhere for Christmas? Our families are local do we are lucky to not have to do a lot of traveling!
What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Telling our families about the baby.
What is your New Year's resolution? Keep a relatively healthy diet and drink tons of water.

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? We used to open one Christmas Eve, and the rest Christmas Day, but we haven't done that in a few years since we're all older. I'm excited to start it up again once we have a LO.

When do you do stockings? Christmas morning...Santa used to leave our stockings outside our bedroom door, so it was something for us to look at when we first woke up (and it let my parents sleep for a little longer).

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? Last year, we spent Christmas Eve with DH's parents in AL. This year, we're spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my parents in Pensacola (about 1 1/2 hours from our house). Can't wait!

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Everything. I love Christmas, and I know this will be our last Christmas without a baby, so I'm just trying to enjoy the here and now before our lives change!

What is your New Year's resolution? I don't really make resolutions, but this year, I will be trying to eat healthier and not gain too much pregnancy weight!

What is your plan to keep it? Plan out meals, track calories and stop eating junk!

Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve or on Christmas? We do CE with my in-laws, so my kids get lots of gifts, and then Christmas morning is reserved for DH, me and the kids.

When do you do stockings? Christmas morning.

Do you go anywhere for Christmas? Either to my mom's (local), or we host. This year we are hosting - obviously, we agreed to this BEFORE I found out I was pregnant. We are also hosting DH's side of the family for Christmas Eve. Oy.

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Seeing my daughter's face Christmas morning. This is the first year she's realllyyy into Santa (she's three).

What is your New Year's resolution? To not bitch and whine this whole pregnancy.

What is your plan to keep it? I'll get back to you on that ;-)

What are you most excited for, this Christmas? Watching DS who is 2 open gifts.
What is your New Year's resolution? Try to have a healthier pregnancy than with my last. With DS I never worked out and got diagnosised with GD. I hope to continue working out and not get diagnosised with GD.
