So...I felt like I needed to share this...

Dear Diary,

Yesterday I woke up, peed, and had pancakes for breakfast. Then I experienced a tightening in my stomach (Am I going into labor??????). After debating whether or not I should call the midwife, I resorted to my magic ball and it said "Absolutely Not".

For lunch I had a hot dog and a large pepsi at Costco. It was super duper yummy. Then I threw up my half digested hot dog and had heartburn for the rest of the day. Again, I pondered if my heartburn meant labor was imminent...Instead of resorting to the magic ball (I think it lied to me last time!?!?!), I called my midwife and she hung up on me.

For dinner I had pepperoni pizza (someone obviously did not learn their lesson at lunch...), and a big salad with enough veggies to fulfill my daily requirement. After that, I took a nice soft poo (my hemis were practically dancing with joy!!!) That joy quickly turned to fear as I questioned if it was another sign of impending labor...I polled the lovely ladies on third tri and the results was no, I was a fucking idiot....

After my very exciting day, I went to bed and slept an entire 10 hours on my stomach without waking up once to pee, change positions, eat, drink, or experience pregnant insomnia...

At least your sense of humor remains in tact, your hemmies are joyful once more and you got some legit sleep. That's cause for a dance party! If I could gif from my iPad, I would start er up.

I was being sarcastic about the sleep

In reality, I slept maybe 5 hours total, got up about 6 times to pee, had a full meal around 4am after laying in bed for over an hour with pregnant insomnia, and dealt with a toddler who wanted to be up for the day at 6am...

@ccip82. I literally choked on my bagel!!!! You always make me laugh! I lost my mucous plug right before my water broke at the hospital. It fell in the toilet! I was gonna take a picture and post it on here but I figured toilet water snail did not really depict what it looked like so I opted out

I know you are disappointed! While labor in they told my I was 4 cm dilated. I was gonna post on here that I was 4 cm and ask if that meant I should go to the hospital!!! But wait?!?!? I was already there so I figured just ask the doc

happy Monday! Ccip82. Thanks for the smile as always!!!! Oh and ps I just had a bagel, a cranberry one, oj and some coffee! Oh and I had a fantastic bowel movement!!! Just thought u should know.

I was about to lose my mind last night. I'm glad to see that some normal people are back.

I just can't imagine ever going online to some random group of women and doing a drive-by birth story. In what world would anyone imagine that we would care? But not only that, why would you even do it in the first place? That is just so strange to me. And I just love the "I don't post much, but I read/lurk all of the time" statements. Well, good then. You can read/lurk our birth stories. Not the other way around. FFS!

Thank you for that! I needed a laugh this morning! I don't have a story to add, but a friend of mine is going in to see her OB b/c she's had "contractions" every "few minutes" and is convinced she's dilated at least 5 cm and the OB is begging her to not go to L&D. They're not full contractions, they're not really timeable, and she has been fully able to eat, walk, and talk through them. They are also the same intensity as the BH she's had for 10 weeks. I'm usually the loving and supportive friend, but I basically told her to leave me alone and text me when her doc tells her what an idiot she is. She was going ON and ON about it and idk where the heck she gets the dilation estimate from. She's also one of those that keeps telling me she's 9 1/2 months pregnant b/c she's 37 weeks. It's all wrong and I just can't anymore. You ladies make me feel sane again.

@ccip82 It doesn't use messaging or anything...so I think so? The Canadians on here get their Snapchat on. I know those snaps don't have to cross the pond but it is still international... I do not have many smarts.

@ccip82 this is the second greatest thing to happen this morning!! I almost pee'd when I read it:) God Bless your amazing sense of humor. Oh and do you want to know the first? I didn't feel the need to start a discussion post about it but I will say it now bc I'm already on here. We had not one, not two, but THREE Great Harvest Bread Gift Baskets delivered at my work this morning. There are only 5 of us in the office today!!! 3 loaves of Cinnamon burst swirl, 2 Honey wheat, 12 bluberry scones, cookies etc.... BEST DAY EVER:)
