Anyones LO stay up at night?

My LO for the past two days has gone to bed and woke up at 10/10:30p for another feed, only to wake at 2/3:00a.  Now here is where it gets tricky, DD wakes up (diaper change, feed) and will stay up for at least another hour after.

Last night I got her comfortable, put the snugglenest in her crib (it has an incline and she has silent reflux).  I don't engage her, kept the lights dim and the room boring.  I fell asleep and woke up to see her sleeping too.  But this 2/3:00a wake is new.  Does anyone else have this happening to them?

Re: Anyones LO stay up at night?

  • Yes, my LO does this too. I think her reflux bothers her the most at 3am. I usually end up holding her for about 20 minutes after this feeding while she sleeps and then when I put her down she stays asleep. If I don't do this she's up immediately.

  • Carrie,

I hold her too, after a feed for 15-20min.  Now, when I know she is sound asleep, I carefully place her back in the crib and she will either wake up immediately, or within 5min after being placed down.
