GTKY: Household chores

I'm bored and just spent the last 2 hours cleaning the house since my parents are coming into town and staying with us for Christmas. I realized just how much I really do hate cleaning, but some chores more so than others. What's your least favorite household chores and why? Do you have a favorite?

Bathrooms are my least favorite. I abhor the bathroom cleaning! I think it's because it was my chore every weekend growing up.

My "favorite" is doing the dishes. I grew up where the dishwasher is a drying rack, so we washed all our dishes by hand. I still don't mind doing the dishes and would much rather wash them than run the dishwasher (I actually don't know how to use that thing..)

I hate doing dishes because they never end. We do not use a dishwasher. I did not grow up with a dishwasher and I don't use one now. I also hate folding laundry. I don't mind doing the laundry up to the point where it needs to be folded. Pairing socks is horrible.

I can't say I like doing any cleaning although if I had to choose I would pick the bathroom. I think that's because I love it when the bathroom is freahly cleaned.

I hate all the things.

I hate doing dishes (even with a dishwasher). I hate doing laundry and washing windows.

I don't mind bathrooms or vacuuming.

Favourite
Vacuuming cause the carpet feels good after and laundry cause it smells good.

Least favourite- varhrooms, dusting and dishes.

I hate cleaning the bathrooms. I love a clean bathroom but getting it clean is awful for me.
I don't mind dishes or vacuuming. I'm funny about having a clean floor so I vacuum daily.

I hate mopping. I like laundry. I am OCD about my laundry. I use 5 different detergents and DH is not allowed to touch my washing machine and dryer. I also hang up all my kids clothes including their pjs.

I also like cleaning the kitchen.

I hate everything else. Especially putting clothes away. Although I don't mind putting LO's away.

I love folding laundry. Let's me have an outlet for a lil ocd. W
Everything folded and put in its place.

I hate dusting....partly due to allergies.

I like cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen (NOT including dishes) and also vacuuming.

I hate folding and putting away laundry, especially tiny baby laundry, and stuffing cloth diapers.

I love cleaning anything that needs a cleaning product (windows, mirrors, bathtubs, counters, etc.) I really love Windex...and Swiffer dusters.

I hate vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher, and folding laundry.

Hate doing dishes. Works because H likes doing them. I cook, he cleans.

Otherwise, cleaning is a de-stressing time for me. Especially with a drink as PP said

Unloading dishwater and scrubbing the tubs. But, really all of it. I don't mind vacuuming with my cordless stick vac though. If I had to plug it in, forget it

I hate every chore I've ever met. If my DH wasn't a bit of a neat freak, my house would probably look like something you'd see on Hoarders (minus the hoarding, but probably just as messy!) If I had to pick a chore I dislike the least, it's probably bathrooms. Our bathroom is super tiny so I can get through it very quickly and still feel accomplished!

My least favorite is by far kitchen/dishes. Like PP said, those 2 are never ending. As soon as I'm done, it's time to make another meal and the dishes start all over again Ugh!

Hmmm... I don't mind the bathroom. I also hand wash my dishes. I find it kind of therapeutic.

I hate everything else. Straightening up is the worst because I hate finding homes for "stuff". The bathroom and the kitchen, everything has it's place and there's no drawers of shame (stuff I threw in because i don't know where to put it).

Yard work: no never uh uh nope nada. F'ing hate it.

I actually like cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, because I feel like the cleaning makes a noticeable difference. It can go from serious ICK to acceptable in a relatively short amount of time. I hate paperwork - like paying bills, sorting papers, that kind of stuff. My husband's a freelancer and I work full time, so I take care of most of that stuff... and while the bills get paid on time, all the statements / papers / etc. gets shoved in a file folder in a drawer til it's bursting at the seams and needs to be sorted. blech.

Ha ha, Ive only just stopped ironing them. It was getting ridiculous. When I met him I did his socks as well.

It's underpants for men, knickers for the ladies.

Oh yes! Although he never asked I just did it automatically. I have no idea what I was thinking.

I certainly don't do it now though (unless he's been really nice then I make an exception).

seriously, do you wanna be my wife? I'm quite sure I've never ironed anything for my hubby...and the only thing i've ironed for the baby is the labels for her clothes to go to school...

Dishes kill my already painful back. Although now that we've got a new dishwasher that actually cleans the dishes (you don't have to pre-clean them in the sink) it's much better.
