Cramping? Am I being paranoid?

So I was breaking down my home office, making way for a nursery. I was lifting lots of boxes of paperwork ect. Anyway, after taking a 10 min break I started cramping low. There's no bleeding or anything, just a dull ache like menstrual cramps. Hubs keeps telling me not to worry, it probably nothing. During our ultrasound yesterday the tech asked me if I could feel any cramping cause she could see it on the screen. I'm 16w1d. I'm sure I'm just being crazy but is this something I should worry about? What can I do to relieve the cramping?

  • Definitely drink more water.  Have you seen your doc since the ultrasound?

  • No. I drink probable 10 16-20oz glasses of water a day (really, I'm always thirsty). I don't see the doc again until 1/2 for quad screen. This just started today.

Not sure if this is similar, but during my u/s last week the tech said she could see that I was having a contraction. I asked her if it was ok and she said it was pretty normal. Esp b/c I had just emptied my bladder. Don't know? Rest and drink lots of water!

  • I notice after I bend over a lot I get a little campy.
With my last one I had cramps all the time. I think its pretty normal. Cramping and bleeding is more of a concern.
  • I have had cramping the past 2 weekends because I have been doing too much getting ready for Christmas. As soon as it starts I stop, sit and drink water(for a couple of hours). H has taken over a ton of our preparations and I am trying to sit as much as possible. It is hard for me to just sit, but the cramping is scary and I know I need to take care of the little one. The cramping has always gone away after a couple of hours.
