Kids say the darnedest things

So now that I'm showing and our son can understand, we've been telling him there's a baby in mommy's tummy. Evey now and then he'll point to my belly and say "Baby!" Well today, we're getting ready for church and he points to my butt and says "Baby!" Apparently my rear end has gotten bigger then my belly...
3 months after giving birth to my son, we went to New York to visit family and my cousins little girl came up to me, pointed at my stomach and said "Who's in there?" Talk about a blow to self esteem lol.

We took my 5 yr old niece to Disneyland last week and while we were in line to see Minnie she screamed at a guy who was smoking that "cigarettes are very very bad for you! Your lungs are turning black!" I was mortified.

We have been trying to tell our son that mommy has a baby in the belly. If he steps on me or kicks me it hurts mommy and baby so,we need to be gentle. Well, now when daddy wrestles with him he grabs his belly and says " ow my baby hurts!" Kids do always say the funniest things.

Yesterday, I took my three year old Christmas shopping at Walmart for last minute stocking stuffers. Somewhere during the trip, I made the comment that I was losing my brain. She latched onto that and spent the rest of the trip very concerned that we find it. She was desperately afraid I was going to leave my brain in Walmart.

My LO was at the baby sitters and told the daycare lady she was her bitchy. What she was saying is she was her bestie. And she used to say pussy instead of push me! Hahaha I used to be terrified of the things that would come out of her mouth!

My friend's kid just turned three and LOVES babies. Anytime he sees one he wants to follow them and just hold their hand, it's adorable. When we told him I had babies in my tummy his little eyes lit up and he gave me a hug and kept saying "hi babies" while petting my stomach. Love that kid!

My 4 year old niece the other day asked me if I had a baby in my tummy? I said yes and she said, "If it is a girl, you should name her Lila, and if it is a boy, you should name him Chewbacca." Friggin hilarious!

My son is pregnant with a mountain goat (I don't know why he picked that) and he will sometimes say "mom, I think the mountain goat wants some candy" or like Pp said, when he is wrestling with my husband he suddenly says "oh no the mountain goat!". So funny.

When my daughter was little she used to call Old Country Buffet "Ho Country Cafe" and sloppy joes were "sloppy ho's." It's been years since those days, but I still say we're having sloppy ho's for dinner.
