Dropping morning nap?

Have any of y'all's LO's dropped their morning nap?

DS has been napping at 9 and 2 for months now. One hour each time. But for the past couple weeks he fights his morning nap, only takes a 15-20 minute morning nap, or skips it all together.

Anyone else in this boat? It doesn't bother me one bit since I'm at work at that time anyway, but I don't think DH will like this change very much...

I think we are working toward it. DD has been ready for her morning nap later and later and it keeps getting longer. She used to nap for an hour around 9:30 or 10 but lately it's been closer to 11 and lasting 1.5-2.5 hours. I think eventually she will do a 2-3 hour nap after lunch.

We are just working on moving to the 9 and 2 nap. Lol

Occasionally DS will skip his morning nap. He tends to do this if he got a lot sleep the previous day. As long as he's happy and not cranky, I'm fine with it!

We're still doing 2 naps a day here, and she definitely still needs them. Weirdly enough, over the past week or so she seems to be getting tired earlier in the morning rather than later. But anyway, she has always needed a lot of sleep so I don't think she'll be dropping a nap anytime soon (yes, I know I probably just jinxed myself).

I have heard of other babies only doing 1 nap around this age though, so I don't think you're experiencing anything unusual.

We're starting to have issues with the morning nap too. He used to nap 9-10:30 like clock work. This morning he sat in his crib and whined for an hour, then slept 10-10:30 and then was up again.

Ummm I would gladly take one 2.5 hour nap. Today was a 1 one-hour nap day.

Right now there are 2 naps, but you can definitely see it evolving toward one. His morning nap is moving later and is becoming longer. His afternoon nap is starting so late in the day and going so shortly that you can see it becoming absorbed into his bedtime soon. Once he starts really showing me a nice long nap and fights that afternoon nap, out it will go! Hope that won't be for a bit yet, but I am sure it is around the corner.

Still at 2 naps a day. He gets up around 7. 1st nap is from 10-11 -11:30. Second nap is from 2-3:00. Bedtime around 7-7:30.

For a while DD1 dropped her morning nap when she was about 9 months old. I thought that was it because it was gone for about 3 weeks. Then all of a sudden it reappeared and we've been back to 2 naps for the past 2 weeks or so. Shrug. Today I got 1 hour in the morning and 2.5 in the afternoon, so I'm not complaining!

Hmmm... maybe that's what going on here. I think it coincides with a wonder week, so it's not altogether surprising.

That's good to know. We've still been putting DS in his crib at his normal morning nap time and he's content to hang out in there for an hour or so before he decides he's done, so we'll just keep doing that and maybe he'll fall asleep again.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I always feel like my baby is way behind everyone else as far as naps, lol.

So far it's slow going. We still end up doing 3 naps a lot bc they are so short and she gets cranky. But either it's teething or up early or a cold...ugh

2 naps here, morning one is 1 1/12 hrs to 2 hrs, no way I'm giving that up
Lol afternoon is usually only an hour but sometimes we don't get one. I'm that case bedtime is earlier
