So I'm bleeding...

We were out doing some shopping and when I felt what I thought was just discharge since I've had a ton of it lately, so I went to the bathroom and I'm bleeding. No cramps. I tried calling my doctors office to talk to the answering service but the guy couldn't hear me. I think I'm just going to go home, take a bath, and lay in bed the rest of the day and call the office tomorrow morning assuming nothing changes between now and then.

    Just a question.. Are you coughing? I had a little spotting when I was in the hospital earlier this week and my doctor told me I likely ruptured a blood vessel in the cervix from coughing too much.

    Nope, no coughing. But a lot of walking this weekend and probably not enough water, again.

    Ok. I haven't looked to see if there's any more bleeding, and I'm still not cramping, but I do have what feels like ovulation pain on both sides. Anyone care to offer guesses as to what this is? And don't be afraid to say what you really think it could be, even it's bad.

    I couldn't tell you, friend. My doctor told me mine might have been from my cervix. I was hustling all day Thursday when I started bleeding bleeding at midnight that night. No sex, no lifting, nothing, just started bleeding. So maybe yours is the same issue?

    I had light bleeding once with DS around the same time (18w) and it was after a day of hiking. It wasn't a tough hike, but I was on my feet all day. Have you been running around a lot the last couple of days?

    TTC #1 4/09-3/10, dx PCOS, 5th round clomid BFP 3/27/10, Nolan Lee, 11/13/10, PROM 36 weeks

    Yes! We shopped all day yesterday and today.  And since the brown spotting I had two weeks ago I've gotten better about drinking water while I'm at work, but still lacking on drinking ANYTHING when I'm at home on weekends.

    With my previous pregnancy I had something similar happen. Was a ligament stretching that irritated the cervix. Had some bleeding and pain on my side.
    Lots to drink and a day watching TV or reading should help.
