My lo will be 6 weeks tomorrow. I'm not sure id this has hust been a really fussy week or what but especially at night it seems like be has separation anxiety if I'm not holding him. If someone else holds his even my dh he will cry until they give him back to me. I just tell them that he is probably just hungry again, he is ebf. It makes me feel really bad that my husband can't hold him that long before he starts crying. I do spend all day with him, not going back to work till fen 3rd. Also at night he still sleeps on me in the recliner, I wanted to transition his to the pnp or his crib this week but dh is working 14 hours a day so I just want the evenings to be as quiet as possible for him. He has also started being very fussy at night for a couple oh hours where whatever I do he will just cry, he will nurse for a min then start crying. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I figured they are too young to be spoiled or get separation anxiety quite yet.
Re: Separation anxiety
Hopefully someone has some insight.
Things that help are;
-bicycling legs
-Burp in different positions (+very often even throughout the day and especially during feedings)
-Warm pad on tummy
-Warm bath
-Gas Drops
-Gripe Water (hasn't helped us much and mainly made my LO choke because the syringe thingy was so full and the amount you're suppossed to give them was just too much for him to handle)
